Pain is good. I want to see the "SOMEBUDDY STOL MA ISKIES!" threads in GD. It will make me moist.

Just convince someone to send you their stuff first and that's it. No repercussions for stealing peoples stuff. You can't get camped at station for being a prick and stealing, at worst people focus on you a little more in match and bad mouth you on forums.
Some people are going to make BILLIONS just stealing assets. Who cares? I just want to see people stealing from each other and the resulting explosions, not Ocean's ******* Eleven.

DUST Fiend wrote:I too want to see more things pushing new players away from this game Eh, any new players who get scammed and quit will be offset by the new players who are given free gear by a vet (such as myself) just because.
I run events for my corp. Up until now they are only awarded ISK. For really big events I award a $10 PSN card.
Now that player trading is here I can give away officer stuff, and one day, boosters or whatever.
Being able to run corporate events like this will increase my corpmate's enjoyment and their chances of sticking around. Especially if they are new.
TL;DR - Quit being such a crybaby

SHADOWBlood ASSASSIN wrote:I have about 500 million ISK worth of things selling and unfortunately I had to say "Send me ISK first". However, I did say that if I didn't pay my items in 7 days of them sending me ISK, they could send a ticket and I would willingly be banned. I hate how easy this makes it to cheat people out of money. Yeah so, CCP is not going to ban anyone for not sending another player ISK. It's kind of their policy to be hands off when it comes to in-game item exchanges.

My apologies for not worshiping the ground CCP walks on and actually calling attention to things that aren't exactly done up to par. As I've mentioned, anything is better than nothing, but kissing their ass and saying everything is wonderful isn't how you get things fixed. Not sure where I "worshiped the ground CCP walks on" in my above posts.
Let's call Simple Player Trading for what it is: Dust 514 FedEx. You are sending an item somewhere. It's not the dual-acceptance trading that they have in Eve Online or other games, but it's what CCP Shanghai can pull off right now.
I want the system to be better too, but we have to play the hand we are dealt. Right now, enjoy the tears from vets who don't realize the system is trust based and try to help new players when you can.

DUST Fiend wrote:Go ask EVE players if they'd enjoy a trust based trading mechanic. They would hate it... but they have a full dev team and CCP's full support so they can afford to demand dual-acceptance trading.
When we have a dev team of several dozen people then, sure, go ahead and ***** about simple player trading

DUST Fiend wrote:I guess we just wait to see how it unfolds. All I know is when I decide to trade I'll be filming that **** so I can at least link video of those who try to cheat me. Do it! That kind of stuff would actually make the Eve community pay attention to our mouth breathing shenanigans. We're part of New Eden, damn it, let's start backstabbing each other like New Eden-ers do.
