I've played about 10 games over the last week and I haven't had a single full match. That's not a good sign.
To make things worse the people who are left playing are 90% seasoned tryhards in full squads, making it impossible for new players to enjoy this game and freezing the player base size where it is now.
Dust needs to evolve. Make a decision on the future of the game, whether it goes to PC or gets ported to the new consoles (my preference), and announce that the Dust servers would stay up until the port happens. At least then people who are interested in the game on the new consoles would come back in the meantime to get a head start on SP, and just to be a part of it before it moves.
The worst thing to do is to let this game decay to death and then announce it's successor.
Who cares what some sniper has to say.

PvE needs to be implemented. Drones or something they mentioned this game mode years ago. It seriously needs to happen. This game feels stagnant, and has since the beta closed. We need new content. I told you idiots this so many times! Give more **** to do devs! Shakes fist in the air

I think in terms of Dust I did have fun during Close beta :D That rush gamemode type = It was awesome :D
I had more fun in MAG = Best shooter and heck it makes BF4 on ps4 out dated xD PS4 pulling off 64 = Cool story bro. PS3 pulling off 256 = Makes the PS4 look sad xD

Matches not being full is due to a new matchmaking system not player count.
However, your perception from the matchmaker creating matches that are not 16 vs 16 is troubling and will spread very fast.
99% of the player base does not go to the forums and many that do, like you don't check the stickied threads up top.

No its content that was on the disc but was locked until you paid for it. Essentially they shaved off sections of the game and made you pay $60 for them.

What "killed" this game for me is that I can't imagine anymore.
With no resources being allocated to the project, no large changes can be made, it's a lot of shuffling things around and retooling things there. I mean they do what they can but it's just, we can't dream anymore.
And that's why I was here in the first place, for the dream.

I so wish we had mobile large turrets, new aircrafts......
Remove FW and we should have plenty of room....... I beleive thats what keeps crashing the servers.... OVERLOAD

You know what would really help is remove every instillation and let US Mercs call them in but they should be limited depending on the map. This could save memory and hopefully they add more. I thought of this so I said **** it since no one came up with it now its my turn

Seems like you're playing in different tier battles. The other option may be the time
when you're playing.

I actually came back to DUST for one day. In the time that I played, I could not believe that this was the game that I was literally addicted to for years (closed beta vet).
DUST was the game that I had been dying for from CCP. Being an EVE player and loyal Amarr follower (seriously I bleed liquid gold, I'm that much into the Amarr), when DUST was first announced I nearly stroked out.
The day I got my closed beta invite, I sold my 360 and purchased a PS3; I couldn't believe I was finally about to play the FPS version of EVE!
As time went on, I got deeper and deeper into the game. I was playing for longer and longer periods, pretty much devoting my all into this game. I remember when the ScR was released into the game: 5/14/13. I actually missed court due to it (speeding ticket) because I was so pumped to finally get my hands on the Amarrian primary weapon (I proceeded to freak out later that day that the cops would arrest me...they didn't).
As time went on I fought harder for the Amarr, I fought harder to build my own name in this game; I wanted to make an impact, to leave a part of myself with this game.
Unbeknownst to the other members of Triple A (or PIE in general), I was actually fired from my job in May of 2014 because I was consistently late from playing DUST.
Here I am April of 2015. I have my degree and a nice job, I'd say I'm doing well. Triple A talked me back into purchasing a new PS3 so I could try DUST again. I did (read the I'm back thread by moi). I played a few matches and was truly and utterly shocked at how I practically lost years of my life to..........this.
I'll leave you all with this,
DUST is not a bad game, it is simply limited by the PS3, and the fact that CCP doesn't have experience with developing for console. If DUST had been developed for PC (Legion) or even the PS4, I feel like it would have made waves in the FPS and MMO genres.
I will not be back to DUST henceforth ever. I simply have no desire to play the game any longer in the current state it's in. Will I be back for Legion...perhaps, but I will have to see how it stands up before I come running back full tilt.

new mm has made solo deploy alot better . i run solo alot and i can feel the differents in it . you forget us vets also got stomped . old oh.imp. tp. ns . full squads of the old guys made dust a nightmare but in the end we became better players because of it . you wont get better playing ppl worse then you remember ...........
