In my opinion HAV's, LAV's and dropships cost too much LP in the caldari+galente LP stores. Espacially since they are all standard vehicles. Ill list the cost for vehicles in the LP store and the ISK variants and the compare it to dropsuit costs.
LAV:
250LP+6.000 ISK or 30.000 ISK
HAV:
500LP+30.000 ISK or 97.500 ISK
Dropships:
350 LP+ 16.875 ISK or 45.000 ISK
Proto assault dropsuit:
155LP+8.653 ISK or 57.690 ISK
So to make this clear i could get 3 proto assault suits for 465LP + 25959 ISK which has a equal ISK value of 173.070 ISK. I basically get a much higher value for my LP by buying suits then buying HAV's. The same thing goes aswell for dropships and LAV's cause buying a single FW proto assault has allready a higher value then a dropship/LAV.
The LP cost for vehicles need to be lowered by 50% to make them actually worth while buying. Espacially since all 3 vehicles avaible are at STD fitting lvls. Hell if player trading would be here it would make more sense to buy suits for LP, sell them to other players for ISK and then buy the ISK tanks from the NPC market.

I believe CPM Cross Atu is working on a revamp of the LP store to make it more uniform in its pricing scheme. I'm sure this will be included as well.

Yeah, the LP values for the store as a whole are kinda terrible.

I feel like the recent changes to HAVs made LP store prices imbalanced due to the introduction of tiers while keeping only the standard version in the LP store unchanged.
I've also a similar complaint with the special daily mission reward which yields two Gunnlogi hulls. Prior to the update that reward was very meaningful to me, but after the changes, those standard hulls just sit in my assets collecting dust. I would hope that that reward gets upgraded to the prototype hull...

I remember not too long ago plenty of complaints about too many people bringing vehicles to pubs and wrecking other people, are we not at that situation anymore or does it cost too much to actually go and wreck people in one shot to buy the "good" vehicles with isk? I ask because for one militia tank that is able to run around OHKing up to proto level suits if the merc is in the wrong place at the wrong time or being camped it seems like LP vehicle purchases are at a good place, and costly enough to at least minimize the number of people running those expensive (isk) vehicles to those who know how to use them or have big wallets.

A STD HAV costs more than a proto suit, but is to be expected to be scared off by STD gear. That's just a problem in of itself.
