Hell nah , cus then it would most likely take too long. Increasing health by just 50% ( either directly with HP , or by lowering dmg across) makes **** seem stupid long and kills the immersion feel of that dude should be dead. This can easily be seen in custom game modes on other games, it makes the game rather boring. And often leaves you needing a reload mid fight, and then health recharges , and you got to try it all over again.
I think it's just fine how it is. It could be a lot faster , which I don't want either. I think it feels just right. |

Leave things how they are. The beta turned me off of this game because the Ttk took forever. It's good now.

TTK is only short for low end suits.
Increasing TTK on PRO suit will make the game quite hilarious.
It would probably require increasing clip sizes and reserve ammo on many weapons.
That's why I need feminism tieracide.

TTK with a Militia Scrambler rifle with no skills hitting a Maxed out Amarr Proto sentinel with 1800 health. TTk = 3 seconds.
Destiny with it's super strong aim assist.. Static health values and scaled pvp matchmaking.. TTK for Suros Regime.. One of the strongest Auto rifles is 1.1-1.2 seconds... The TTK of the average DUST engagement.
At what point of making DUST's TTK and Aim assist values.. DID CCP want to create Destiny level TTK with BORING level of clunky slow gameplay?
Isn't that a terrible concept for a FPS game? It certainly feels that way for the vast majority of us. |
