In fact, over the last month it is what I've used almost exclusively. It does well as AV, but it really shines with an ACR and AMD on it. It's like the perfect Domination suit.

Really tempted to use the Gal Logi as a solo suit, but as you mentioned just too damn expensive.

Out of what I have: Stuff I don't like it because I can do whatever I want in that Minmatar assault way better, and i use the forgun to destroy vehicles and infrantry, after all, I need to fight in close quarters to be effective with the cr and the acr. I do not use SL and the MD Is really cool when you are able to move jump and ambush the enemy. I used to use it before the Assault buff, right now it doesn't have too much purpose to me, lower hp, slower, no pg, in other words I will use all the assaults before thinking in a commando. I find it to be very worth while to be using simply because if used well or in a doctrine it can alternate between Heavy Assault and Support Platform. Despite what most people will say about Commando's I do not like to use two weapons with opposite damage types simply because I don't believe it takes advantage of the suits potential. I'd say the Amarr Assault is made to be a specialist suit either making use of the standard Scrambler Rifle or the Laser Rifle and is either a Mid-range or Long-range suit. The Commando ties those roles together through the Assault Scrambler Rifle/Laser Rifle Combination. It The manner in which I learned to use it, by watching Aero, is about shifting from a suppressive stance to an aggressive stance as you require it. Using the Laser Rifle and the AScR to control the range of fights and ensure you always have the best weapon for the range you are fighting at. Comparing the Minmatar Commando to the Amarr Commando the only thing I'd suggest that the former has is the bonus to swarm launchers which if you want to play a suppressive class hinders you c GÇ£That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death may die.GÇ¥ -The Nameless City
