Your right but I want to be able to just buy them in the store.

I 100% agree. I have continued to support this game by buying boosters of all types. I admittedly, by 30 day active boosters for casual play but having a career, a wife and kids. My casual play usually turns into 3 hr grind fest in which I activate three one day boosters. Recently I have began to question active boosters and more so FW boosters.
We purchase a one day boosters to receive 24 hours of boosted game time, the reality is that you need to sleep, this is at least 4 hrs lost. Long queue times could mean , in extreme cases can be 24 minutes lost waiting for a match. No to mention some game modes have high incidence of lag and removing players from matches. On the high end getting removed from a match could be 25 minutes lost on the low in 7 minutes. My question , is it fair to in this case to lose out on boosted time. I think battle boosters is an excellent idea, I get booster per battle and it allows me to spend my aurum on other stuff or more boosters . Although as a business model , CCP knows that people like me have the money and will pay 5 bucks for 3 boosters for 3 hrs of boosted pay. Touche to you guys and your business model!
I think that we the paying customer , and more so the returning paying consumer need these options. We want to feel included in game play and game play options . Right now it feels like a penalty , not only do I Spend 400 to 500 on dust a year but most of the stuff I get I only use about 8% , if we consider boosters, I know that I am not a lot either . Its stupid, yes but I believe in the game but CCP could definitely be kind to us and our pocket books or kinder at least :-).

Are you currently purchasing active boosters? why or why not? I am not currently purchasing active boosters. I have a very bad habit of doing 4 matches then doing something else. If squaded, will do more matches but doing more than 20 matches in a row is impossible for me. After I have one play session, I am good for the day. Due to this behaviour, I do not see a positive return for me to buy active boosters.
Have you ever purchased an active booster? Yes.
Have you ever used an active booster? Yes.
What do you think about active boosters? Good to have in different flavors. Per battle is a good idea AS LONG as it is consumed only if certain parameteres are set a. Have x amount of minutes in the battle. b. In case of dc, it is not consumed.

Anecdotally, a person with disposable time will want to invest in a time based booster. This population is usually not the working population. They benefit from time based booster system . At the same time. I am interested in what population is working and plays dust regardless of country . I believe , with no objective data, that the working man is buying the majority of boosters and this is the population we want to sate . Battle boosters benefit us and drives us to spend money and by more boosters. I am also aware that dust is good at the " cash grab" because you can buy aurum with 2 bucks. You don't have to be a working man for two bucks. |

But what happens when you join a match half-way through and you have to waste a boost?
I'd rather see the active boosters become "instant boost packs" that let you choose which battles you want to apply them towards. Sell 'em in packs of 10, 20, etc. and give them something like a week-long duration from when they're activated for you to use your boosts.

I think this could be mitigated for the most part, like it would only booster if you spent xx time in battle and would only be used up when you get to the final battle screen.
