To the OP, if IWS is posting on those forums and is just voicing complaints does it matter? I wasn't aware that people couldn't be interested in multiple games. Sure he is CPM but he is still active here so does it matter?

hes not voicing complaints... hes posting as a dust CPM.... on a rival forum... and telling alot of wierd half truths
like did you know warlords came with 5, count them 5 new maps? (hes counting 2 old maps with changed redlines as new)
acting like the 2 new moods dont cause horrific FPS drops
toting the warbarge as amazing new content...
hes talking about the new minmatar and amaar tank models were getting (rather than the recolors we are getting)
hes also kinda posing as a CCP employee without actually coming out and dirctly calling himself that.

We're also going to be adding a skins system soon that would replace the couple hundred color copies of suits with a module that recolors the suit to match up with what Eve online is doing. We also added some modules back for vehicles some upgrades for turrets and the like. Loot boxes, daily missions, the warbarge. We also made myrofibrils give a jump bonus which adds to some fun of the game being able to scale a small building in a single bound. Overall players are enjoying the game and thanking CCP Rattati for it as he does listen to the community and does ask them often to what they would like. Though he too has a massive list of things he wants to see fixed as well so.
Also 3 month roadmap has been published and we're about to have a PC symposium amongst the top PC CEO/Logistics officers on revamping that game mode. CPM2 should be on the schedule soon though I can't share details yet.

Hey IWS, what is the gameplan for Legion? I quit playing DUST for the same reasons as most. But of all those reason's the main reason is because I have a PS4. The PS4 itself is a superior machine.
I use to listen to you guys on the podcast you guys would do.....(I can't remember the name of the website now).....and I loved all of the talk on there, but then I would get home and pick up the ps4 controller instead of the ps3.
PS2 is an awesome game. Remember, this game has a lot of MAG elements to it. Which in my opinion may have been one of the best FPS games ever.....at least as far as teamwork and tactics go.
So, do you have anything to tell me that would cause me to pick up my PS3 controller again?

I enjoy a good round of "one of us" but I thought being cpm came with the implicit ability to take pot shots at all other cpm past, present, and future... if not I may have trouble here because I'm pretty sure I've already covered most of those members (myself included  )

not more, a higher ratio than a normal forum for a player base this size.
as for evidence, watch how fast threads fall off the front page of GD, then compair to other forums for games with alot higher player base numbers and see the difference. threads fall off the front page insanly fast here in compairison.
plus theres a higher rate of new threads made per day if you look at teh stat pages for the various game forums you compair to.
for instance the EVE online forum itself has what 8x the player base and moves 10x slower while at the same time has a more involved forum community. the quality of the threads/posts are higher and the number of new threads per day is lower.

All of your banter about what "we" have done just makes you look like some kind of CCP stalker that feels like speaking for them.
This kind of activity is only getting the attention of past dust players and reminding them of the types of people and bull spit that they left behind. I hope you are happy knowing that you are only making yourself and those of us who choose to stick around in Dust look like fools.
I have a beta code and have putting off buying a ps4 to use it just because I do not want to give up on Dust. Seeing those types of actions only makes me wonder why I would want to hang around people like that and deal with a company that actually allows you to go out and ramble on other peoples forums while intentionally giving the impression at times that you are acting as a CCP representative.
I petition that IWS be issued a gag order in reference to stating his positions on Dust or any of CCPs positions out side of the Dust forums for the good of everyone involved. |

the beta servers are only online for limited times (like dust closed beta was) so you can play bpoth like i currently am without any real issues.
the will only come available full time just before open beta hits so if you are so inclined buy the ps4 and just muck around on the ebta server once in a while and do some bug hunting/practice/get a feel for the mechanics.
that was my problem with him on the ps2 forums, hes acting like his position carrys over and that he is free to act in that capasity on those forums as well. not to mention that it REALLY plays off like hes an employee with how he words things.
this type of behavior outside the confines of new eden doesnt look good on CCP

I recommend submitting a ticket with the info to at least stop him from doing further damage. I can only imagine what people that do not know what CPM and stuff actually is are thinking about this game, CCP as a company, and about us as a player base.
I personally witnessed similar activity in the way he presented himself to Eve players on the fanfest stream but never imagined he would go as far as putting his rantings on the forums of other games.
@IWS you may have passion for the game but you really need to learn how to communicate and not attempt to use your position as something to back up your activities. This really applies when going outside of New Eden where people do not even know what your position actually is. You are just making us all look bad.

To be fair, it was a thread asking if there are other 514 players playing PS2 beta.
Its not like he just randomly created a thread or Dust Bombed some random thread.
I don't always agree with IWS or his perspective, but the fascination with IWS hate borders on the obsessive.
