People farm likes in dust forums? now that's just sad

To the OP, if IWS is posting on those forums and is just voicing complaints does it matter? I wasn't aware that people couldn't be interested in multiple games. Sure he is CPM but he is still active here so does it matter?

There are no plans on the project due to the nature of the project itself; projects for all intents and purposes are to explore possible platforms and or game types. So generally most companies never share infomration over projects in that early of a state; When we have something more concrete to show about the project and where it evolved to we're likely to have press releases and the like.

Blizzard didn't do this for Project Titan which was supposed to be a full fledged mmo to rival its own world of warcraft in a scifi setting. The scraps of this lead to the overwatch game which is for lack of a better terms a hero arena shooter.

As for ongoing's; as you noted Fanfest there legion was annouced was a terrible one; It gave CCP a black eye for sure (legion was not the sole reason of the black eye but one of the larger ones); which is why 2015 was full of real tangables and more concrete; as in stuff we got already working; or working on next and viable and feasible. This is also why dust 514 wasn't there this year becuase we had nothing major to show and we wheren't going to be making a bunch of silly promises that may take 10 years to meet. Dust 514 has recovered since then; CCP Rouge assigned a new dev to head up dust 514 development, CCP Rattati, and so far everyone claims he we released our first expansion; Warlords we're working on 1.1; we also deployed 5 hotfixes for balance and new features as well. The game has been said to been more blaanced than ever; we hadded 5 new maps, 2 new moods, we're about to add amarr and minmatar vehicles as well. We're also going to be adding a skins system soon that would replace the couple hundred color copies of suits with a module that recolors the suit to match up with what Eve online is doing. We also added some modules back for vehicles some upgrades for turrets and the like. Loot boxes, daily missions, the warbarge. We also made myrofibrils give a jump bonus which adds to some fun of the game being able to scale a small building in a single bound. Overall players are enjoying the game and thanking CCP Rattati for it as he does listen to the community and does ask them often to what they would like. Though he too has a massive list of things he wants to see fixed as well so.
Also 3 month roadmap has been published and we're about to have a PC symposium amongst the top PC CEO/Logistics officers on revamping that game mode. CPM2 should be on the schedule soon though I can't share details yet.

Do you have any numbers to back this up? More people forum post than play Dust? I don't know man, sounds unlikely.

Well, I'm not surprised someone from here is already trying to turn PS2 into garbage.

I knew IWS was a bit of a troll but holy crap man.

All of your banter about what "we" have done just makes you look like some kind of CCP stalker that feels like speaking for them.

This kind of activity is only getting the attention of past dust players and reminding them of the types of people and bull spit that they left behind. I hope you are happy knowing that you are only making yourself and those of us who choose to stick around in Dust look like fools.


I have a beta code and have putting off buying a ps4 to use it just because I do not want to give up on Dust. Seeing those types of actions only makes me wonder why I would want to hang around people like that and deal with a company that actually allows you to go out and ramble on other peoples forums while intentionally giving the impression at times that you are acting as a CCP representative.



I petition that IWS be issued a gag order in reference to stating his positions on Dust or any of CCPs positions out side of the Dust forums for the good of everyone involved.
