The Commando is a mix of Assault and Sentinel so I think the Commando should be a mix. They should have the high slots of their racial assault suits and the low slots of their racial sentinels.
I would like all who agree to please Sign here so that CCP may change it.

Not really because it has less hp then a sentinel and assault i can get almost twice the hp on my assaults then my commandos its a cross breed it should be not less then both.

Wrong they were made to be a bigger stronger assault with 2 light weapons and were made of sentinel suits that were gutted to give the suit for speed.

Commandos certainly need a buff (along logistics) but your proposed "changes" are absurd...
There was a thread about this a while ago... with commandos given the same high/low as sentinels.

While I agree they need a buff, it should only be extra slots, and a grenade. Their supposed to be slow, I get that, but the fitting space on those things makes them not versatile enough

Im not entirely sure what you're fitting to your Commando and Assault, but in say the case of the Caldari, the Commando has a base shield HP of a little more then 2 Proto Shield Extenders, which incidentally is the same number of additional slots the Assault has over the Commando. Meaning that if he fill said slots with shield extenders, he'll have roughly the same HP as the Commando. Even if you use the additional 2 low slots for armor plates, it'll only gain the Assault about 150 or so more armor HP than the Commando.
How exactly is that "almost twice the HP"?

A commando is for SUPRESSION, it says so in its description. Assault suits are for frontlines meaning they are mostly for pushing into the objective while the commando serves the same purpose as the sentinel just a different method.think of it like this a teams line of defence first consists of the scout for reconaissance then comes the assault suits as our main means of attack, this is followed by the commando who are built to defend the objective from a distance and finally our last line of defence, the sentinel and logi, the impenetrable wall guarding the objective which where they got the name 'sentinel' as in a guardian

Nade slot + one high/low slot would help.
About thier hp as someone mentioned before. Assaults have more hp and regen than commandos. Amarr, Cal and gal commandos are not worth using cuz assaults can do everything better than them. Minmando is usable for AV + AI/AoE. And it has less/same hp than min assault.

Thing is, commandos and sentinels are slow and very vulnerable for retaliation. More HP wouldnt mateer much as most of their victims would seek vengeance.

If we added a little mobility and another slot we might actually see something viable begin to gel.
Past that, I'd like to see one of the bonuses get folded into a recovery bonus so that Commandos can represent a sustained presence on the field.
As it standa they start with the HP similar to an average-fit assault. It's not bad, but there's really no options to the fittings worth speaking of. it's either fit for damage, or max the tank. There's just no utility value on the commandos.

I have 72 mil sp proto minmando swarms mass driver cr and ar and shotgun smg hmg all maxed and cores plus logi assault sentiel and scout i got it all they just need more to them then what they have honestly
