Pleas, please change them.

Either make them require actual cal scout skill.. and then unlock them...

But because they are actually proto suits with the same fitting capability it would be a insane advantage if you could add any modules/weapons to it. The point of the suits is to allow you to run decent gear at 0 cost upon death. Not to stomp around in a free proto suit where you only payd the modules on. I make the scrubs scream and the vets cry.

Providing a Prototype level BPO in game would substantially impact the meaning of ISK and loss within the economy and as such is not planned at this time. The 'Kaalakiota' Scout C-1 is available on the market if you desire a customizable Caldari scout BPO but the APEX suits are intended to remain at roughly the power level of a Standard fitting geared toward racial themes, not to provide an unlimited use Prototype suit. I can totally understand why it would be frustrating to think a fitting provides one thing and discover that it is designed with another intent in mind, however at this time the APEX are working as intended. I know that is almost certainly not the answer you were seeking for but I hope the added clarification will still be of some value. Those are interesting ideas certainly, but would require a patch level update to the fittings and itemization systems as new code would be required to implement that type of behavior. That being the case it's unlikely we will see it in the near term as there are quite a few things which patches can be focused on. See a cool idea thread? Mail me the title and I'll take a look =)

I cant shoot either the RR or the Bolt pistol :( Really unhappy with all the time I wasted on this as it is currently :( - Proto BPO's would be completely OP. - The only thing that keeps the APEX and Faction BPO's from being OP is that you can't change out the Standard modules on them. - Soon we will have Skins, and you will be able to put your faction Skin on your proto suits. Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

When the skin system is introduced you can put the Faction suit skin on a Standard BPO, or put it on a fit that uses a single use Proto suit. You will get the look you want on the suit you want. This is coming in the short term if I understand the situation correctly. Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

I cant shoot either the RR or the Bolt pistol :( Really unhappy with all the time I wasted on this as it is currently :( Well at least you know now that every time you ran into someone using those suits when you were farming the 100k LP that it wasnt that powerful of a suit to begin with, being that its locked. When they were introduced CCP said they were locked though. I can understand not seeing that information because it can be difficult to find if you dont even know you need to look for it. I like to think of it as just having another starter fit that is slightly better and very pretty. I'm working on my third gallente BPO now.
