Excuses and tears is all I see.
And the real assholes of Dust aren't the ones using modded controllers - but the ones forcing people to use modded controllers to keep up.
Now if you'll excuse me, peasant, I've given you more attention then you are worthy to receive. Count your blessings, they come so rarely in Dust.
*There is seriously a lack of assholes in this game compared to 3 years ago, it's quiet dull.*

My modded controller makes my HMG shoot so fast the server breaks.

You're either confused or an idiot. Where in any rule is it stated that Modded controllers are cheating?
Because it's very much stated using drugs are cheating in athletic sports. Thus why the term 'cheating' fits, because they're using illegal methods to win.
These people are not using illegal methods to win, they're paying to win. So unless you're going to call the entire Pay To Play industry 'cheating' then you're full of yourself.

Clearly CCP didn't design the game with modded controllers in mind (otherwise turbo's would have been accounted for), so using non standard equipment to gain an advantage over those using what the game was designed around is indeed cheating.
It is dishonest, but it's no different then any other pay to win game. You don't need to have any sort of design scheme in mind to know the existence of these controllers and how it effects your FPS - and they did nothing.
In baseball when they created a bat that almost assured athletes home-run-hits - it was banned. They didn't wait for it to effect there game, they knew of it and made a rule.
CCP has done no such thing knowing of there existence. It's only considered 'dishonest' to begin with because other people aren't willing to go that far, so they call it cheating.
I call it poor people crying they don't have enough.

Whelp in my case it has nothing to do with money, apparently I just draw a finer line between dishonesty and cheating than you.

Dishonest to me is someone doing something others can't do to get an edge. That's not what a modded controller is.
The only edge it even gives you here is RoF - Macros don't effect us much. So only guns like Tac AR, ScR and other single shooters with no limit on RoF get an edge with it.
I consider the old KBM's way more cheating with how fast they could turn around and aim o.0
