Pretty sure Imps were the worst corp ever.

Rumor was if you were on a full team of imps when PC started and you lost a match you would be kicked out of corp. Never found out if that was true because after not losing for the first 5 weeks of PC they were declared winners and all retired. Except kane and other fanbois.
Also there was no rules for trolling the forums and it was assumed the better troll you were the better the chance you got in the match. Which kinda makes sense if you think of Mr Zitro, regnum, proto, etc
Yup 100% most fail terrible corp. Worse even most of them were bad human beings too. On a positive note Telc seems overly pleased and support of Bruce Jenner.

Didn't you lose to STB once? 
No, hiring Teamplayers was a solid plan and worked well for STB but Teamplayers deserve all the credit. STB had sent craps teams or no showed for the week building up to it so expectations was low. Which was the main reason kane has trouble fielding a team for his live steam that day. 
Note: By then about 80% of imps has stopped playing.

Ill give you an example: imps played about 250 full team matches in first 10 days in which 60+ members played, it spanned EU and US time zones and it was against the other 2 big alliances at the time (Eon and SI alliance). Daily we had overlaping fights and were able to field 2 teams. We started with a few district and expand at will and spent all our money on clone packs to fight. DF was in control of our local planets and SI merc'd for them so even easy fights we went against above average comp. After about 5 weeks our players got bored and we voted to just stop (which sucked because we just picked up PFB core players). Some players that wanted to stick around did so and I help transition a new leadership team. Players went on vacation before they were going to come back in august and play. Somewhere along way kane wanted to do some fights because he was a streamer for themittani.com. I know he he could have wiped STB off the map a few days earlier but had thrown a match that sunday so he could live stream the wed fight.
Look back at my threads at the time I give STB credit for being sneaky and smart and Teamplayers for winning the match. I just think its important to make sure the facts line up. I could go on but didn't intend for to start a pissing match just here for jokes.
Later on I came back to play as a casual and ran with AE, FA, TP at times. All very solid teams with good tactics and I think they deserved the respect for being top dogs when they were on top. Its impossible to compare these groups at because each of the circumstances for their success were different.
Notice I didnt say unreal because bumble bee is a scrub and wanted me to help him build a top corp last summer after everyone quit since it would be easier then

Closed beta tourney was DS, anti DS, link spam. We were so dust poor back then we didnt have roofs to land on.
