Hello all,
Since we have the technology to do things such as "give x player a hacked-key if they win a battle" I'm guessing we have the technology to "deduct 100,000 isk from a player for leaving their 3rd battle," right?
So, I proposed that we implement a consequence based system PER DAY for leaving battles, such as:
1st abandonment: no cost (it happens sometimes)
2nd abandonment: 10,000 isk
3rd: 25,000 isk
4th: 50,000 isk
5th: 100,000 isk
6th+: 100,000 isk
This is New Eden, you were paid to do a job, and you didn't try and fail... you abandoned the contract! If this was Eve, you'd get wardec'd, if this was RL, you'd be sued...

God damn it no consequences till:
- I can choose what contract to accept
- Increased isk payouts for attempting to win
- Have a matchmaker that works 90% of the time.
Till then, hell no to any consequences.

I get Boulder Ridge six hundred times in a row, I'm leaving - not because of a contract or desire to break one, but because it's a game and I want to enjoy it.
Give me the ability to know exactly what I'm signing up for beforehand, then you can punish 'bad' behaviour.

What if we make the requirement for the hacked key: complete two battles instead of win one battle?
