I'm not sure if LAVs have it but god damn what I wouldn't give to be able to look directly behind me in my tank. I lose 1.2 million ISK so often when retreating cuz I can't quickly see what's behind me @_@
And cuz I r nube

That's pretty situational though, and they aren't typically looking for little things you can get caught on, they're usually looking for kills.
Just to be able to press in L3 and look the inverse direction of wherever the turret is facing. I probably should have put this in the features and ideas forum.

Not even close...
I most often die this way when I'm chasing a coward into his redline, then as I'm retreating I'm trying to keep an eye on him too and I bump into **** and die lol. Even when I try to look the turret rotation is so slow (max skills) that I end up getting stuck anyways haha. Also, reversing straight into an enemy tank is one of the strongest offensive and defensive moves you can make

I wouldn't mind so much if the turret rotation skill was applying. Maybe it is, but it sure doesn't feel that way
