Kirjuun Heiian A public chat channel for making squads or q/syncs and communicating with Eve Orbital strike pilots for Caldari Fw in dust 514
Over the next few weeks I'll be spending most of my game time running q syncs and squads from this channel solely for State Peacekeepers
I will also be seeking out and assisting, existing and potential assistance from eve online players over the next few weeks for orbital support and "other deployments"
All are welcome providing they are not too disruptive to gameplay or comms Mics are optional Chat Audio is advised
Experienced Squad Leaders and Platoon Commanders are always needed across all time zones
Any eve online support is always welcomed and a lot of kirjuun veterans are experienced operating in conjunction with Eve assets
Any interested in taking part at any level feel free to join the chat channel "Kirjuun Heiian" or post in this thread
First Op will begin approx. 2100 Eve time time, April 9th

Running squads and q syncs publicly is pretty tiresome I understand that, I just have a soft spot for newbros and indepenent mercs trying to get wins in Fw
I don't begrudge anyone who wants to play in private channels

I keep having the thoughts of having a "Kirjuun command" channel, more secure for eve pilots, and a private place for fc's and sqd leads to communicate across different corporation.
I enjoy the ideas of the public recruitment concept, but some want a more focused hardworking sqd So the thoughts of a more controlled central channel persist, that runs the more elite squads, but also actively recruits from public areas

Just finished session Thanks to all involved, the fight continues even now
Special thanks to Nelo Kazuma for his role as FC in several battles
Organisation and communication was good
The organisation of q syncing is still quite frustrating But good battles make it worth it

Pilot activity has been very low recently due to the lull in dust fw, so many have moved on or simply don't see it as worth it.
I've notified whoever I know in eve who may be interested that there is a dust fw event. Lack of eve-dust communication tools sux
I'm sure at points there will be things to shoot at in space

I did much the same, had an eve dust channel "State SOCOM", merged in with Kirjuun once numbers started to fall in the lull between events
As long as there's a core of eve pilots and potential Commanders a channel can keep itself going

just logged off another session of KH CFW 5/5 wins Some organised opposition but most matches felt fairly easy Managing to maintain at about 2 fulls sqds most of the evening, so let's get more recruits!
Thanks again to all who played Special thanks to fc's, sqd leads and orbital support pilots
Main interest of this event is me trying to hone my sqd lead and FC skills, while I may know dust, I'm generally a quiet person, so it's educational to see/hear good fc's and sqd leads

I am also looking at increasing the number of CFW eve pilots present, sadly the ones we previously operated with have moved onto other interests in space. This leaves us with 2-3 pilots, which isn't enough to cover the scope of our operations
So.. What I seek is a regular eve cfw player who is willing to act as a liason between Caldari Militias across dust and eve.
Living in Onnamon on the edge of fw space I do my best to recruit eve pilots in my local ,but what I really need is someone who's online regularly and has access to the eve Caldari Militia channel, also they need to be prepared to spend time trying to recruit pilots for OB, escort and counter OB duties, having played eve I can provide limited assistance in instruction of how to drop OB. This is purely a project of interest,I'm not paying anyone to do it, though a lot of EVE LP can be made through OB
Anyone who's willing to attempt this role post here or contact me in game, more willing to help the easier this is

Just finished session, was up to 2 syncs split between 2 channels, though we met some resistance and a couple of matches ended in defeat. Our battle discipline needs to be better, take and hold, rather than take, lose, take.
Thanks again to all players that took part, the fighting continues even now Special thanks to fc's and squad leads, I always appreciate extra command help as it means I can relax an play a bit more while learning from other Commanders
Note on channel, yes it is public, anyone can join an take part, the idea being it gives us the constant manpower we need, while enabling players to play as a larger force and have an easier time getting LP People will get banned for bad conduct
As for security....it is very very hard to prove that someone is a spy Secondly flying with a FW group in eve,we knew the risks, we flew for the state with a big target on our backs and we dealt with it, it's war, orbital bombardment is much the same, ppl know where u are, they know u are with the opposing faction, not to mention there's 16 gallente players who know where the district is and if there's a pilot there. Any pilots with concerns for security can make private channels with sqd leaders or communicate by mail
So the administration of the channel will remain as it is
Thank you all for your participation, all feedback is welcome and considered

I'm hoping there will be some interesting stats after this event, I'd certainly like a function like eves militia office where u can see the number of kills an systems won/lost Perhaps a weekly fw stat board
I'm not 100% certain how fw functions[looking in archives for appropriate article], though it certainly seems the starmap isn't moving much...ever...so not sure if this system is an accurate measure of activities, maybe it is...
Overall hoping this events data may shine some light on things an possibly lead to a tweak in the fw system

I'm all about lore and immersion, it's why I've preferred to be involved in Fw over everything else
Im guessing once we hit 50/50 it will spawn an equal number of attacks/ defences at which point one can gauge more accurately who is winning...
Maybe if we get some data out of this event we can look at a better fw system once pc is sorted out
Eg something like a variable complex, also perhaps eve's new sov mechanics/entosis links could link quite nicely link mechanics together
Until then we just have to try and enjoy what battles we get while formulating new ideas
Though if gallente have the alleged numerical advantage advantage, could be tricky to make balanced systems

Esteemed comrades
Sometime in the last 12 hours, our mainline of communication (kirjuun Heiian) has been shut down
While the exact cause us unknown, I am awaiting to hear back from the channel moderators
In the contingency that the channel no longer can be used I am looking at simply creating another with a new moderator More information will follow

Ya it was pretty sucky Allegedly the perp was using alts, so tracing them is a moot point
It's not too bad, found a new moderator quite quickly thanks to our Imperial allies in PIE
Like mina said we also have State Task Force which works as a separate channel for splitting comms when we need to
Though I still run into ppl who have different ideas of channel an operational policy, seem to think I'm an evil dictator who just wants this channel to satisfy my own megalomania
I just want to foster a community that is inclusive and helps drive the eve dust connection and provide people with an interesting dust experience outside of PC
Moving on, again I thank all those who help me out with FC and other command duties, without you guys this operation would die very quickly Also special thanks to Allies in PIE for their assistance in quickly resolving this communication issue

Remember this thread is always open to constructive and civil feedback on Cal Fw with relation to the channel
Also thinking about Scheduled conflict with Gallente q syncs Not sure if its "in the spirit of the game" but perhaps a set period where gal/cal attempt to q sync against each other, kinda FW meets PC

For a bit of interest/history, here's mainstream CFW communities from my point of view since FW inception.
Winter 2013
Shortly after Fw is released, in co-operation with State-Born allies on EVE, a Jita market alt is brought out of stasis, registered to the State Protectorate and sets course for Black Rise...on the eastern edge of the Cal/Gal warzone Using an Ibis (Caldari starter ship) equipped with a single gun loaded with orbital hyrbid ammo, we call in our first test strike, striking an enemy Sica and destroying it to great amazement an cheer. (it was terribly fit)
Noting the effectiveness of the strike (it was the only way to get strikes in FW at the time), also that it was quite profitable for minimal risk EVE-side, we decided to try and make an organised unit for Cal FW
One of the EVE pilots opens a chat that is approved access only, State SOCOM, this unit operates over the winter, scoring many successes against the Gallente Federation, the peak being platoons deployed in 3 seperate districts with an EVE ship at 2 of them.
On the downtime between OB operations, Cal ships run pickets around the Innia system and across Black Rise, chasing any and all gal ships they can find.(P.B was a 2 man kestrel fleet getting 9 kills with no losses in a night) Loose co-operation exists between State SOCOM and Test Alliance who were the main group in EVE CFW via Subdreddit As a reference of numbers, State SOCOM pilots in the month of December made almost 1.5 Billion isk in profit from OB alone
2014 Spring -Summer
After the Winter war, i turn to planetary conquest and public contracts as most of my EVE friends joined a null-sec alliance and Test later withdrew from the war, one of the main FC's from State Socom, Z13, forms the infamous "z platoon" a somewhat contreversial unit focused on winning at any cost with no patience for new players or those not meeting their standard of play.
While in a Corporation/Alliance sworn to the Gallente Federation...thoughts turn to espionage, in short, requesting OB ships to attend districts only to find former State SOCOM pilots waiting for them. Using a series of go-betweens an shadow agents, my participation went largely unnoticed, while the engagements were miniscule by EVE standards, the operations were extremely effective, the highlight being when Federation re-enforcements were mustered to chase down the Caldari pilots, sadly one of the Federation pilots was ill-trained and continued to talk to mercanary spies, probably deeming them low-risk or irrelevant, that mistake cost them several ships up to battlecruiser size...
Kijuun Heiian A dust player in conjunction with his own EVE assets creates a new channel called Kirjuun Heiian, after leaving planetary conquest behind i return to Cal FW and find my way into the channel, after casually playing with small sqd size units, the notion comes to start q syncs again, i persuade a small band of pilots to periodically provide small amounts of strikes, participation rises again. Kirjuun Heiian becomes an organisation based on inclusivity and tolerance, allowing pretty much anyone to join in with q syncs an battles. This brings them into conflict with the afore-mentioned z platoon and the later offshoot j platoon, pleas for unity were made, but many mercenaries simply didnt want to risk their wins simply in the name of inclusivity. The organisaions from then on rarely operate together if at all.
I join the corporation Kirjuun Heiian to test the viability of a FW corp similiar to PIE, EVE side i rent an office in a border station, filling it with OB ready ships and supplies, the corp also registers as part of the State Protectorate so any of its pilots can drop OB's and begin accepting dust applications.
Sadly the lack of interest in FW at the time, the political feuds between Caldari platoons and the notion of players having to leave their corps to join KH corp, means the corp idea in FW doesnt take off AT ALL, lol. Still the release of APEX suits and FW events sees attendance and participation remain steady for a time.
2015 Spring
Current Fw events and patriotic interest draws together a good mix of players into Kirjuun Heiian, operations run smoothly and players are enjoying themselves. Some orbital is supplied by newly met EVE pilots, one of which creates his own channel as security an moderation in Kirjuun Heiian becomes lacking, named State Task Force, accross the event battles are fought well with few losses. Kirjuun Heiian then suffers a comms grief attack and its moderator mistakenly kicks everyone, working with contacts in PIE a new moderator is found and a new channel is opened to replace it, Kirjuun Saaja. During the grief attack to continue operations operators move over to State Task Force and the fight continues.

Overall my experience shows much like corps, FW units are formed around a core leadership that needs to be strong, active and patient, battle experience and confidence is very important, but in the end its a community that wants to get synced in matches with OB support and get wins, its down to the leadership to provide that. Policy disagreements will occur, its up to those leaders to find a way forward for the good of the unit, be it kicking people or compromise. Its up to the community itself to get behind its leaders an help support their ideas and keep the unit active.
Yes having more chat tools and FW mechanics would be nice, but this isnt about that
In conclusion id like to thank all those who were involved, to name a few that come to mind, id like to say thanks for your support, advice and participation, FW is my favourite part of dust and its been a gaming defining experience to do this with u all.
In interest of security i am not going to name names, you know who u are, thanks
Perhaps you found this interesting, i may have missed something and i apologise if my writing offends u, only a B in English...

As for the not being united part, true and kirk are accurate in there assessment
Over the last year the Caldari State has taken a beating in space largely due to large alliances like Test withdrawing At the time perhaps when Dust Caldari Fw was needed most we were too fragmented and feudal to really provide any support
One could say it's CCP 's fault, yet it's undeniable that the State Peacekeepers let their people down
