Anyways, to answer your question about the ability to build an app for DUST: We have two API's that could help with this: CREST, which is actually what DUST uses to talk to TQ, is not quiet in a state to work with multiple connections from the same user at once. This is something we are working on fixing for EVE and so that fix will hopefully work for DUST as well. No ETA on that as it is not the highest priority thing. The XML API which is that things like NeoCom use for getting information about EVE characters. Most of the resources for the XML API are built specifically for EVE and would take a fair bit of effort to get updated for DUST. Then DUST players would need a way to generate API keys as well. Anything that can be done from a phone app can be done faster in the game interface. Unless you're letting a bot run your interface while you're away. May I offer that running a CREST app concurrently with EVE or DUST logged in should be considered "optional?" Doesn't need to be like the stupid little destiny app, nor as complex. God only knows I'd mostly use it to pull weapon and module stats when I'm being a spreadsheet nerd. AV

I ran my entire CPM campaign on this premise. That we could find other ways to embrace and extend DUST interactions beyond the PS3. Leverage the power of the community to assist the dev team. CPM1 Candidate > A richer Dust app ecosystem means more player engagement!

I do most of my DUST related correspondence through the EVE-Gate web site via my EVE character. If someone sends a mail to Fox Gaden, I forward it to Renier Gaden and then respond from there. Mail in DUST is just painful. I keep hitting Backspace while holding the Shift key and erasing my entire message (sometimes multiple times). Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.
