DUST Fiend 16276	Posted - 2015.04.08 22:29:00 - [1] - Quote Only ADS dogfights that are even and end up with a winner are railgun incubus vs railgun incubus (railgun vs missile is auto win for railgun, equal skills assumed), and even that is frustrating most of the time thanks to how the math generally plays out. Dogfighting with missiles is like watching two armless kids try to catch a baseball. I don't ram, but I don't blame others for doing it. Why spend 5+ minutes fighting one ship (average time to force a meaningful retreat or score a kill when even skill is assumed), when you can just ram them and "win". This tactic grows exponentially more attractive the more ISK you have. Contests, Sales, Writing etc Fly Safe

I've been using the first person mode and I actually kinda like it now. It's funner to weave in and out around buildings :3 (I'm also not very good at aiming in the 3rd person camera because of the vertical movement of the turret). But the point is the view doesn't swivel with the turret, so you can only shoot straight forward. This means the only way to shoot at ground targets is to either basically be on the ground, or to fly straight towards the ground. It's an incredibly simple change that CCP flat out refuses to make, and to this day it still baffles me as to why. Contests, Sales, Writing etc Fly Safe
