Good Day,
If I throw a Flux Grenade and it wipes out the shields of three reds, and then a Heavy comes long with an HMG and kills them all, I don't get 3 Assists.
Even though I did half / part of the damage.
It seems like I have to do damage to the Armor of a red to get an Assist.
But If I do only shield damage with an Assault Scrambler, and someone else kills them, I seem to get an Assist.
Is this correct?

That is what I thought when reading the subject... However, I actually read the post before responding. You should try that before sticking your foot in your mouth.

I'm not quite sure what people mean by fluxes being unfair.
Once you hit level 3, non- flux grenades kill 50%+ of the Fittings out there, within their radius. With level 4 and 5 you move closer to 85-95%.
Now if you want to talk about reducing the radius or the Shield Damage done. So be it, fair points to argue about. That wasn't really what this thread was about. But if you want to talk about that, okay.
One thing I would like to see for Regular grenades is an area of effect "visual effect" more like the visual that Fluxes show.

If I do just shield damage to a red with a rifle or sidearm and someone else kills that red, I believe I get an Assist. Based on this logic, Flux grenades should get assists in the same way, if I throw a flux grenade, it eliminates the shield of a red and someone else kills that red, I do not seem to get the assist.

While I agree that maybe you should get assist points as a caldari player PLEASE don't give this community another reason to use flux's

i actually did read the post before posting
getting kill assists would lead to more fluxes though, and i cant support that with the current state of shields. |
