uhhhh... what...
that number doesn't match up, the math just doesn't seem to add up... wtf happened in eve while I been gone.. there was only 750k total accounts or some **** last I checked,..and certainly a lot of corporations. |

OP is using flawed numbers that only account for Eve.
On the plus side Algintal Core which was the winners other guess does actually seem to be the largest player run corp. They have the numbers to compete with the NPC corps which is pretty impressive.
From what I can see there is far more than 750k accounts. The NPC corps probably add up to more than that as just the one NPC corp I looked up was nearing 200k players.

Doomheim is the "corporation" where biomassed mercs/capsuleers go . It's true, that number takes into account only eve players, but adding biomassed dust mercs would simply increase that number.
I'm speculating here, since we have no real number, but there used to be a time when people made alts everyday in order to gain free isks, and this would simply increase even more that number.

Chribba can confirm or deny my interpretation but from what I can tell dustboards shows Doomheim and Doomheim. as closed thanks to their no longer containing any Dust mercenaries.

I was actually mistaken and Algintal Core is an NPC corp which means that Duna Corp is the largest player run corporation that I can find in Dust. |

The reason Doomheim is not showing any is because I cannot verify the biomass of Dust mercs as there is no API for them. I'm sure they get placed in it as they are just like EVE pilots an entry in the database, but at this time it cannot be verified via any API.
