that number doesn't match up, the math just doesn't seem to add up... wtf happened in eve while I been gone.. there was only 750k total accounts or some **** last I checked,..and certainly a lot of corporations.

OP is using flawed numbers that only account for Eve.

On the plus side Algintal Core which was the winners other guess does actually seem to be the largest player run corp. They have the numbers to compete with the NPC corps which is pretty impressive.

From what I can see there is far more than 750k accounts. The NPC corps probably add up to more than that as just the one NPC corp I looked up was nearing 200k players.

It's true, that number takes into account only eve players, but adding biomassed dust mercs would simply increase that number. I'm speculating here, since we have no real number, but there used to be a time when people made alts everyday in order to gain free isks, and this would simply increase even more that number.
