BUT he is not fast, not NFL fast.
Hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Bro, you don't need to wait till the Olympics to see how bad the Americans are in rugby. World Cup is only a few months away and the All Blacks are gonna win again!
You guys always get creamed in the pool matches and I will say you guys have gotten better but against the Wallabies, Springboks, the Irish, the British, hell even the Welsh and the Scottish...
Stick to your pads bro.

Stick to your pads bro. Your superstar is going to get his ass handed to him. The NFL is not a place for a dreamer-it is too fast and too violent. Rugby is a very simplistic game, but not as gay as soccer-I'll give you that, but everyone in the NFL is Fast and a 4.5 in the 40 is slooooow, hell there are 290lbs defensive ends that are faster and quicker. He'll get cut before preseason ends!
Bro, there is a massive difference between Rugby and Rugby League.
Also keep in mind your NFL stars have two teams (offensive and defensive) and use up all their speed and stamina in short sprints. Not to mention you have downs and three timeouts each half with breaks each quarter and a 30min half time.
In proper Rugby (not league) you only have two halves 40 minutes each. Each team only has 15 a side with between 6-8 reserves. We take no timeouts unless injury occurs and have a small break in our half time. Each player has to be an all rounder and had to learn how to both tackle and run the ball. Not to mention rucks, mauls and brawls are frequent.
Did I mention we don't switch players every two minutes?
Edit: Also no downs, its 40min continuous and we don't use pads. Only mouth guards and the occasional soft leather helmet.

Bro, your argument has been proved invalid on multiple points and I'm done trying to convince a yank that NFL is an inferior sport.

Bro, your argument has been proved invalid on multiple points and I'm done trying to convince a yank that NFL is an inferior sport. I do need to respond you your YANK! as I find it highly offensive and is racially arrogant in that it states that all people living in North America would considered themselves American-when in deed they do not, because they are agnostic to their own nationality and sovereign governance...lol they are fools If you think that I am a common North American then I will have to oblige. I am a Yankee doodle dandee, My family is from New England, Boston specifically and you need to be educated. In 1775 we were 2 inches taller and 20lbs bigger than you, you are nothing more than saxon's and associated criminals. When Tudor took hold and the Puritans arose-then the mass migration of we Normans took place-We are Norman, Templar, Puritans: suck it! Do you like how I can say all that? I know since your mother was a sheep and your dad was a welsh probate...lol
That moment when I'm from New Zealand (founded by a Dutch, colonized by poor english settlers) and actually Irish, German and Maori no trace of Welsh in my ancestry thank God.
Maybe you need to do some research.

It will always have the strongest, fastest, and biggest players out there buuut its boring as hell to watch and that's why rugby is cooler. Yeah, the flow of NFL games are completely ******. Rugby is just a better sport to watch, a Rugby team of NFL players would give any other team a good match, but they'd probably still lose to experience. Well, I'm interested because with the Olympics and the attention to rugby it will garner here in the US, there will be some players who do not have "enough" to play in the NFL that will cross over-we have thousands of College players, that are bigger, stronger and a lot faster than any thing you guys have ever seen.
Bro, the Olympic games for Rugby don't mean sh*t. You want to see how good your country is in a real man's sport? Watch the Rugby World Cup later this year.
Also keep in mind that the Olympic version is Rugby 7s, not full on Rugby.
Also I saw the USA vs Australian match live in the 2011 World Cup. I felt embarrassed for your nation. Sure you beat the Russians but they are only slightly better than USA in rugby.
Like I said before, stick to your pads bro.

Just wait and see Rugby is a fierce game. However, do not underestimate the sheer speed and size of an NFL player. They are larger and faster than the average rugby player. For the record, I think this rugby player is a fine athlete and may just very well stick in the NFL. He has the athletic ability to do so. His biggest hurdle will be learning new rules. The same would happen to an NFL player trying to play in rugby. Both would need to learn to adapt. The only NFL players drastically larger than their Rugby counterparts are linemen, whose role is to slowly waddle around the line of scrimmage slapping and shoved at other fatties for 5 seconds at a time. The players actually running around in the open field are virtually identical to Rugby players. For example, the top rusher in the NFL is 5'10 and 215lb, while the top try-scorer in Super Rugby is 6'5 and 275lb: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38sCGMihKKw
Even though I agree with your point, I must insult you for posting a vid of the crusaders. Cheifs all the way.

Alright you need to learn your lesson. Here is the video that shows how bad Americans are at Rugby. USA vs New Zealand (my country). Full game for ya bro.
USA vs NZL
Oh the All Blacks are the best rugby union team in the world.
And if you are too lazy to watch the game here's the final score: 74-6, All Blacks won. It was 46-6 at half time and after that we sent in the new talent and reserves.
So keep going in about how USA will beat us in Rugby ya ****.

Damn straight, was really using my post to make a point that USA is a horrible rugby team when compares to the All Blacks, the Wallabies and the Springboks. Took me a while to find that game.
I will say this though, the French arnt that bad of a team when they don't cheat.

I will say this though, the French arnt that bad of a team when they don't cheat. Its a matter of resources. We are a large country, but it doesn't pay to be a rugby player over here. Hell, it even pays better to be a soccer player over here, and soccer is no where near that popular. Between baseball, basketball, football, soccer, hockey, and "olympic sports," there really is very little demand for rugby here. If you think the best athletes in the highest earning sports, if given the incentive to learn and play rugby, couldn't at least be competitive with the best teams elsewhere, then you have grossly over simplified the thought experiment.
Completely missed the point. Global Rage was banging on about how USA will dominate in Rugby, fool needed to learn his lesson.
