Mercs,
Trash Bucket realizes the importance of the new player experience. We are a small corp of friends from Canada and we are looking for a few raw rookies to train for battle. We are looking for serious players who want to learn more about the game, the maps, the playstyles, etc, and who want to join up with my squad of 5 x 20m sp players (myself and Venderal at over 50m sp).
We want to help grow the game of dust and part of that is picking up raw blueberries and giving them a rewarding experience before they just quit and never return.
We do have a few requirements for those interested in joining.
1) You must have a mic. I cannot stress this enough. Communication wins matches, period. 2) You must join our corp. Tax rate is 8% but we feel that the information we will share will be well worth the small isk cost. 3) We would prefer it if you played frequently. At least 3 days a week.
Message me and we'll see you on the battlefield.
Garbage Day!

Have you considered joining the Learning Alliance?
My EVE character Renier Gaden is CEO of Immortal Guides, a training Corp similar to yours, although much larger. I am also the head of the Learning Alliance, and a founder of the Learning Coalition.
I believe strongly that training Corps, Training Groups, and Individuals who want to help train new players, all benefit from sharing their resources. That is the premiss the Learning Coalition was founded on.
The Learning Coalition operates out of a chat channel of the same name where Veterans from many Corps make themselves available to answer new player questions. People who want to teach benefit from me bringing new players into the channel. New players benefit from getting advice and being able to squad up with more experienced players. Joining the Learning Coalition is just a matter of adding the chat channel, and has no obligation. (No recruiting in channel please, but you can recruit players on coms once you squad with them.) For a small training Corp the Learning Coalition chat has the added benefit of offering a place fore your new members to get help when your vets are not online.
The Learning Alliance was originally meant to be a more formal alliance of training Corporations, but then I realized that there was a need for an Alliance that small Corps could join, which would allow members of those small Corps to get full squads by drawing on members of other Corps in the Alliance by making Alliance squads in the Squad finder and thus avoiding the perils of opening squad to Public.
Oh, and I am also Canadian, Eh? I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.
