That's...pretty wrong. Go check the feedback/suggestions.
Edit:
It's Features and Ideas now. If you go way back you'll see many feedbacks on many things and a lot of ideas of improvement.

Ah, I get your angel now. That post helped clear up wtf you were on about. OP was too vague. We're all reading it completely different, my guess.
There has been and continues to be quite a stand for this game. Careful with generalizations. I still see a lot of names that I remember from Closed Beta---all of which are still offering constructive feedback by means of forums posts in GD as well as suggestions in the Features and Ideas (or whatever it's called), as previous posters have noted. That's just what's visible here in the forums.
Add to that the comment on DUST being profitable? Someone is obviously forking out real cash. Whether that's strictly for personal entertainment or idealistic support for future development, it still gives CCP a means and justification for continued support.
Still not sure on your sources though. I read a whole spectrum of attitudes here.

Dude like I said before. I'm not new here, I played the game like everyone else, It ok for you to be veteran and telling the Newbie to suck it up. What improvement have CCP done in these 2 1/2 year of this game insistence. No a damn thing. |

There used to be a time when there were vast amounts of players making comments and suggestions that would improve the game, however as it became increasingly evident that the suggestions would fall upon deaf ears they stopped bothering.
Since CCP refused to listen or do anything with the suggestions, the game continued to rot and most of the players who would make said suggestions decided to leave and play better games.
You may not like what I said, but it's true.
It might anger or offend you, but it's still true.
