wich one of these reasons for leaving do you feel deserve a 500k isk penalty
1: player from my squad got dropped
2: i got dropped
3: train map
4: lag / up against foreign teams that belong on the EU/Asia server causing extreme lag.
5: not enough players and the ones that arnt in my squad seem to consist of a guy in a viper putting uplinks on towers and 2 redline snipers. i just refuse to carry that.
6: games already half over and i wont make enough isk to cover losses due to the isk formula
7: i already left the match due to one of the above reasons and it put me back in

ill play the train map when i plan on pullling out a tank or when i had my calmando (lol king of the hill), but my squad tends to have a standing policy to elave it unless we say ahead of time that well roll tanks in it.

7: i already left the match due to one of the above reasons and it put me back in Any and all. You don't screw over an entire team because someone couldn't get their act together. Train map is annoying, but its a problem that shouldn't exist too much longer.
then i afk, STILL screw the team over (potentially even more so due to a whole squad doing it) and and dont incur a penalty
this is a case of the cure being worse than the problem itself.

wasted effort, ill still find ways to circumvent the bullshit, its what i do.

once it gets to the point where i cant circumvent punishments for leaving a game to pick up dropped squad mates, then your also punishing a whole load of people who diddnt do anything wrong :P
then you get another mass exodus from dust :P

you underestimate how well i can hide, there are some PRETTY far corners of the map you can sit in undesturbed forever

If the player has no isk, they get locked out of matches for an extended period of time. Wow, that's a steep ass penalty. I can't get behind that. Sorry, not sorry. We do need a penalty, but this is not it. We should get one leave-early every 24 hours without a penalty. This could be because of a matchmaking weirdness where a squadmate gets omitted from deployment, or disconnection, or whatever. After that, every time you leave-early you will have a wait time that increases exponentially; 1, 3, 5, 10, then finally maxing out at 15 minute wait time. During that wait time you cannot join any non-PC match. Alternatively, CCP could implement a bonus that increase exponentially for staying in a match. After the 1st match of the day you get a 5% ISK bump from EoM payouts. The bonus steadily increases for every match you see through to victory, or bitter end. Maybe maxing out at 10 - 12%. no it consists of the people who diddnt do anything wrong but suffered the same consequences as the people who will enevitably circumvent any pentalty to leaving game

if you carefully read my posts you will realise that me and "people who diddnt do anything wrong" are in two seperate catagories
