Well, the only reason not to be penalized for dropping would be #2 and lag. I see no reason otherwise not to implement a penalty system for dropping. Personal preference for dropping is hurting the game. Play or don't play. Simple as that. You can always run around in the redline while drinking beer!

I might as well join a fresh game. 3. If I am getting to the point that DUST is no longer enjoyable. Lagging, PS3 overheating, or just getting put into the same matches over and over. If it hits me, I just walk away. It is better to drop a game rather than continue playing it and walk away angry, at least from experience. This one isn't very common. That is about it. "This is B.S! But #5 is right on point. However, I don't leave because of that. I just try to play smart and go for kills. So really, I leave because of #1,2,6, and 7. CEO / Art.of.Death

The match doesn't change for them, they are hiding and losing either way.
