I haven't had a chance to try it with a squad that is actually good, but so far my experience with the new matchmaking is not good. Either the teams are uneven because of wimps who leave, or my team just seems to suck and have no squads while the enemies have at least one high-skill high-organization squad. It is just stomp after stomp on that god damned train map. It took me about 10 battles to get my daily win for a ******* key. I was better off using my BPO suit than with my proto.
tl;dr new matchmaking makes Dust nearly unplayable atm, unless the enemy team leaves

After today, I don't blame them. I left 3 matches today because of uneven teams. It just wasn't worth it.
