What makes you think people want to go to a video game forum to discuss these things anyway? Most if not all of us want to discuss, you know... the game. At least on GD we do.
I'm fine with this type of stuff being in the Locker Room, because that's what the Locker Room exists for. Off topic stuff.
But really, If you want to actually discuss this stuff, you'd be better off on a different site altogether. A website largely populated by people from completely different counties and continents, and a good portion of them being non-voters at that...?
Not exactly an appropriate place to bring religion and politics to the table.

Not exactly an appropriate place to bring religion and politics to the table. The only safe place to discuss these topics is nowhere. And politics and religion should not be anywhere near each other.
I wholeheartedly agree on all counts, but surely there are less rediculous places than the Dust 514 Forums?
