It's totally unfair, it's already difficult to hit people once, you have 2 consecutive shots before overheat, they should not be able to survive that skill shot.
On the other side, if you play heavy and stop moving, it's your fault if you get killed.

Don't nothin survive my proto rail shot. I never run anything less than the best with rails, so I don't know about any of this.

No object could survive a direct hit from a railgun, because of the immense speed of the projectile. If you got hit, you would look down and see a gaping hole in your chest as you die. Same goes for forge guns.
So the point is, increase railgun/FG efficiency against infantry to 300%. (This is Sparta!!)

This amuses me.
The only sentinel that can conceivably survive a large railgun shot is the GalSentinel, assuming it is bricked. And even then, it can only survive a militia/standard rail.
Upgrade your rail, or throw on a damage mod, and deal with it. Its not like GalSentinels are slaughtering people let and right with impunity. They just happen to be able to tank a weak railgun shot. No big deal.

It has to be a select number of Sentinels with pretty much entirely buffer fit to actually tank a rail shot, and typically it has to be a Standard Large Rail, anything larger is typically fatal. It's so much of a fringe situation that I consider it non-issue.

Heavies are already in a very bad place and you still consider them OP? either you really hate heavies or has nothing better to do. they survive a railgun shot that's too bad, get out there and finish him off,shouldn't be too hard since they were nerfed already

I think a tank shouldn't survive my forge shot, it is difficult to make and I have a long charge up time. If you play tank and stop moving it is your fault if you get killed.

How can you compare hit a tank with a forge to hit a heavy with rail gun, diffculty level is clearly different, tank is huge target uncapable of fast movement.

excuse you... its exactly the same thats how. tank is huge target incapable of fast movement? so is a sentinel. oh but wait... thats NOT true of a tank bc fuel injector, so... yeah.
meanwhile, the crosshair on your large rail turret is pretty pinpoint whereas the crosshair on a forge gun is... ehhh... i think hes right in the middle, but... oh wait no.
besides which, a large railgun takes how long to spool up? and a forge gun only takes 3x as long....
Finally, a sentinel is BY DEFINITION a class intended to be powerful enough to go toe-to-toe with a tank.

a turret isnt a weapon? woooow. this is like saying remotes arent weapons. or grenades arent weapons. or nova knives arent weapons.
there are more weapons in this game than just guns.
and a railgun is a gun anyway. a really really big gun.
and it does railgun-type damage, which gallente sentinel does resist to.

Both the amsent and galsent have resistance to railguns.

Where have you find the definition? Because if it's really in game it's the stupidest thing ever. Nothing should goe TOE TO TOE with a vehicle, especially infantry, that should choose a tactical strategy to eliminate the threat.
For the rest, do you really think i talk without having both role skilled? Come back with some experience on vehicles. I've met people that were legitimating JLAV before skill into vehicles. I can assure you that hit a tank with a forgegun is far more easy than hit a infantry target with a rail gun.
If a large rail of any kind (turret or installation) require more than 1 direct hit to kill a infantry of any kind (heavy or sentinel of every race), there is something wrong, idk if it's the suit or the railgun.
The railgun is similar to a sniper rifle, you can't move while firing with it, if you move it's not even easy to hit tanks which are a huge target, imagine moving while shoting infantry.

hilariously it's actually impossible to survive an ADV or PRO rail shot. But rather like a forge gun, the lighter, cheaper, less powerful guns aren't a guaranteed kill.
