Not enough PG for a starter sniper fit. Odd.
I haven't spent any SP (and never will). I wonder if that's it.
KDR matchmaking fixes everything but the stupid purple Quafe stuff.

Nope, shows sniper in the choices and when I build it, PG reds out.

They added the new fits such as raider to any new character that is made from now on, anyone who has an account previously created before the change still has the old fits such as sniper but because of slight changes the PG cost has been increased. if you skill up your PG suit generation you can still use it

Same thing happened with the Gallente Medic. So, they removed a module from every race for that role. |

How much sp and isk is needed to make the starter sniper fit useable tho? Wouldn't you be able to get pg upgrade lvl 1 or 2 with just the starting pool?

Because CCP didn't want to encourage bad habits in new players by allowing them to redline snipe right out of the gate.
And considering that was about the only thing they could do and not be frustrated with, I am sure there were a lot of them.
Just be glad they didn't completely remove the option, which they could definitely have done.

So, I spend some minimal amount of ISK and SP and NOW I can redline snipe?
The non-fix is a non-fix. Either all my starter fits should work with my no-sp character, or they shouldn't be there.

Its a compromise.
If you still want to use it, you can with some SP expense.
At the same time, new players coming in that did it as a matter of convenience and don't want it enough to spend the SP won't be redline sniping.
Would you rather they have removed it altogether?

The 'Raider' is a G-I Scout suit in red colors, very beautiful. I found some in a strongbox and have been walking around my HQ in it since.

But it certainly isn't the new "Recon" starter fit for new players. Sounds beautiful though.....I WANT ONE NOW.

Just delete your character and create a new one. The new one will have the new starter fits, and since your refuse to spend skill points anyway, you will not lose anything important to you.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.
