Weapons were Viziam Scrambler Rifle and 'Codewish' Duvolle Tactical Assault Rifle on a State Commando ck.0.
So from what I see, they perform almost exactly the same in hipfire. It sounds like the Viziam is firing faster; however, by observing the magazine counter, we can see that they are firing close to the same rate of fire. I believe this is where a lot of complaints of modded controllers come from. The ScR firing sound is longer than the TAR firing sound, which makes it sound like its shooting faster than it really is.
Now ADS was tricky for me to film; I was holding up my camera to record (no money for a capture card) which made it difficult to hold the phone AND go ADS AND shoot the weapon as fast as I can. However, they appear to me to have the same kick in ADS, although the TAR may kick slightly more.
Also, as I showed at the end of the video, I have only level 3 AR operation, which means I could possibly make the TAR kick even less than it was. So I honestly don't really see why the TAR isn't used more. It seems like it performs exactly the same as the ScR but without overheat. the Viziam does have 14m more range, but I don't think that would make for the numbers we apparently are seeing (Rattati, release the data comparing the two please :))

Sure against shields and maybe advance armor suits but against heavily tanked suits like heavies its better to just spam the trigger.

So against the majority of the suits in the game, people charge their shots in CQC.

+Range
+More Predictable Recoil
+Faster Reload speed
TacAR:
+More Practical Burst Damage before OH/reload, even if ScR has Amassault
+Higher actual DPS by proxy of higher base damage
+Easier Fitting
+Same or better hipfire, depending on Sharpshooter Skill level
+Less recoil when Operation V and/or Galassault V are factored in
+Better Damage Profile
+Never Overheats
It seriously boggles my mind how people continue to even pretend to think the TacAR is worse then the ScR...
