The TactAR is already UP. There is no need to buff this gun.
The only reason you all want it to be buffed is so you can have a range and RoF increase; however, neither is needed at all.
Gallente shine in CQC and the TactAR is fantastic at CQC and more.
I will edit this and bump the thread after I take screens of me running it for 200 matches and taking pictures of the scoreboard.
CCP Rattati stop buffing and nerfing things based on use. Buff and nerf things as needed. Such as:
- The CR needing a HUGE hip Fire radius. To counter it's Alpha damage to armor.
- The ScR needing a small Shield damage toned down, bigger hip fire radius and head build up per shot.
- Shields needing a buff as in stronger resistances to weapons. Since 1.4 Shield users have been hindered by every way. Hence why, you a 70/30 ratio of Armor to shield users.
Back on subject though, do NOT buff the TactAR. You will just be creating another FoTM.
For the love of the game, stop Rattati.

The sentiment in the OP is a little too alarmist for my taste but I do agree. The TAC AR doesn't need a buff at all, it's totally fine. Just because it's underused doesn't mean it's OP. If the ScR is nerfed people will migrate a bit more to it naturally.
