My recommendation is if some one is in it run to the very back of your red line and just sit until they leave. Most will.

Drive into redline. They will jump out. And if not, then abandon it in redline[with blue inside] and call another one.
Option nr 2 for mercs with nice amount of ISK.

I don't have the isk for this... But I do it anyway... If they don't get out first attempt, I drive far enough in to know they wont be able to get back out, lol.
Shame there isn't a similar way as getting people out of a dropship, fiery rings do the trick for them. |

Option nr 2 for mercs with nice amount of ISK. Usually i do it but this time there was no one on my tank and i didnt see any blue around my tank so i tried to recall it and i realized he was inside...

I hate it when you have turrets and some random just jumps in and does NOTHING , they see you firing at someone or something and they just sit there the whole match .
I drive in the red line as well sometimes and I definitely don't have the ISK's for that but like the OP .. there should at least be a kick measure like the punish from FW where you can kick dead weight .
Doubts are like flies and should be treated as such and crushed .

Didn't mean to hurt your feelings. What you're asking for defeats the purpose of shavs so you're better off asking for those to be fixed. But hey you're more than welcome to keep being pissy and see how much that helps you.

Not just have no one in our tank ever.
You get a great random in your tank, they shoot enemies, they jump out to hack objectives while you watch their back, then they can't get back in because some useless numpty has ignored the objective and jumped in to stare into the sky the rest of the match and pew pew the MCC.
When no one is willing to use the small turrets, it would be nice if I could use them to cover the team, rather than having to keep my eye on the blue dots to make sure they aren't getting too close to the tank, for fear of the most likely outcome - Another numpty. |

I feel like people should only be able to pilot things they are skilled into. If you don't have HAV 5, the tank should just kick you out. So anyone could pilot mlt tanks, etc etc.

Very few people? Please, 2/3rd's of the tankers have been requesting this since a least open beta. You don't want blueberries in your tank, fill it with huckleberries or drive the one that only has one seat. A tanker and the gunners shouldn't be getting out unless they're recalling the tank for whatever reason (and for this, recalling a vehicle should kick the occupants out as soon as the button is pressed). Your job isn't to hack anything, that's the infantries job. Do what a tank is supposed to do and If the dipshit blueberry infantry isn't doing their jobs, well tough sh!t because that's something we all have to deal with. If you or your gunners get out to do the job of someone else well that's on the person that gets out.

If you or your gunners get out to do the job of someone else well that's on the person that gets out. Most people have been asking for lock, not to have a single seater. There is a difference.
Your argument doesn't make sense: "we all have to deal with bad teammates so there shouldn't be vehicle lock." You are stating that a feature shouldn't be implemented because of something that has nothing to do with the feature in question, rather than showing flaws in the merit of the feature being suggested. It is like saying "because you are sterile, you don't need condoms." There is more than just a single issue to be concerned with.
The SHAV does help those that wanted to be singular. However it doesn't stop vehicle theft nor the seat being taken by someone who isn't in your Squad. You know what I have heard, over and over, as a Tanker? "Get out and get the objective" or to have one of my gunners do it. If we could lock vehicles by Squad, that would be a possibility but the risk of leaving your friends out high and dry means it isn't worth doing.

Well enjoy having half the team continue to complain about the tankers not being anywhere near the objective for the foreseeable future then... Don't expect any one sided teamwork. |
