I say approaching swarms need a warning mechanism.
If rendering can't be fixed, can we put a temp fix at least? Because no rendering is a serious issue with swarm vs vehicle. its not a matter of awareness if you get hit by invisibles.
Or have it on radar or something... first shooter advantage @ 1000+ damage, unseen? That's not fair.

Anyone carrying AV should get passively scanned, the same way vehicles do, with their own unique symbols. Wouldn't be so bad if I could see the AV player, even if I can't see the swarms. |

Well looks like the SL should be removed then.
No warning system, no countermeasures, no chance for the DS/ADS to defend against something they cannot see incoming at mach 3 and by the time it gets hit the 3rd volley has been launched.

I think that the most that can be done is to cut its damage so it has the lowest DPS of all of the AV weapons.

Simple fixes:
1. Reduce the knock back effect of AV vs Dropships by at least half.
Half the time AV kills dropship momentum, giving the AV player easy targets for a second and third hit.
2. Give dropships resistances against swarms and forge.
AV players see the dropship long before the AV player renders. Resistances give us some natural absorption to offset the damage while still allowing the AV to still be able to deal full damage vs tanks.
