There is no other weapon which does this insane amount of damage towards shields and this is not acceptable in any way cause there is no rifle which has the opposite inversed damage profile. Yes there are niche weapons like the massdriver which deal +20% vs armor but the DPS on that is just pitifull and you might want to consider shoting yourself into the foot with it.

For the sake of every shield tanked dropsuit give it a +10% vs shields and -10% on armor like the assault rifle has. That one weapon singlehandedly makes the choice to use any caldari suit pointless. The minmatarr have it a bit better cause they are dual tanking or make use of their matrix neo skills to dodge all incoming bullets.

You can keep the profile on the laser rifle cause its a niche weapon like the massdriver. But the scrambler has long+short range capabilitys and wrecks shield suits too easy. I for example have proficency 5 on it and when i aim at some 1 shields i get a 142% efficency against it.

To make my point: a proto scrambler with no damage mods on it will deal a whopping 101,53HP damage towards shields. So you can take out a proto cal assault that has around 600HP shields with 6 shots. 6 DAMN SHOTS FROM A GUN THAT FIRES AT 600 ROUNDS PER MINUTE!

If this doesnt get fixed then i want a tactical rail rifle that deals 150HP damage and shots at 400 rounds per minute. Sounds fair to me to be aible to kill a 800 armor HP amarr assault in 5-6 shots.
