Assholes communicate with unnecessary negativity which adds nothing to what they're saying other than making it come off as toxic. More specifically the amount of negativity often outweighs the amount of actual useful feedback. Assholes also disregard most if not all feedback from others, immediately jumping to negativity. It's not even that they refuse to compromise, more so they they refuse to even entertain the idea that they may be wrong.
