Prior to blue bottles getting their buffs, I speculated that flying MinSents going toe-to-toe with Scouts would be a thing. Sadly, I have not encountered a single Sent mk.0 with double complex kincats, triple complex myofibs, and Sixkin BHMGs.
To those skilled into the MinSent, have you tried this fit out yet? How does it perform; are you able to run, jump, and one-shot players like SG Scouts? |

@ROM
Yeah, that was last night. I had just spawned in with my MinMando to ward off some tanks and out of nowhere, some other fatass came charging right for me. Lol, gg though. Anyway, MinHeavies with Stacked myos and HMGs are OP? How OP exactly? Enough to draw the attention of the mass and have them scream "nerf!" |

The only mods that affect jump height in low slots are Armor Plates since they make you heavier. True, but kincats do affect horizontal jumping distance. So.. that kind of counts, right? |

Well, being able to jump over an opponent's clone while drilling 100hmg rounds into their dome piece...maybe not so much OP as one would think but would definitely catch one off guard hahah I was thinking of skilling into the HMG just for this reason, but doing this with a forge is so much more enjoyable. So, I remembered that I had the ADV MinHeavy frame from when I decided to spec into MinMandos. I bought a dozen or so suits, put on 2 complex KinCats, 2 complex MyoFibs, and a MLT HMG.
From what I tried so far, it is not OP, but the fun factor is definitely there. Being able to sprint and jump over railings to get in and out of cover adds a new layer of depth to the way one would play the Heavy class. Although it only has a little over 900 eHP, the added maneuverability plays well into going head-on with Assaults and Scouts that get the jump on me.
I'm sure that things will be even better when I skill up the MinHeavy to Proto and slap a Burst HMG. I can already see the surprise on Scouts' faces when a giant fatboy comes falling from the sky, raining quick bursts of instant death upon them. This is going to be good. |
