If you haven't already, max your core skills if you plan on playing infantry. It may eat your sp up, but everything you build from there will be at its innatE best. Other than that how do you play? I would run some matches in mlt or even starter suits (which have changed) and observe, like Iron Puppy Butterknife said. See what's going on, try different weapons and suits without investment. See how you like to die best.

See how you like to die best. Well, I've already done the maxing of core skills, I mean, when I left I raged a bit, deleted the one I was playing because I died so much and was sure I built wrong. So I re-made ( Only had 2 weeks in game ), and set my new char to collect SP. Hence, coming back to 13M. And mainly, I'unno how I play really, I'm in the process of figuring that out right now. And all I'm remember is that I have a bit of **** aim. x.x
Well lucky for you, all races, and suit sizes are available in militia. Buy a few light, medium, and heavy suits, and a few of each weapon and play around with them until you get a feel for them. Don't expect to be super effective at first, but take it slow and practice your aim, your awareness, learning maps and playstyles. Also, Dust University helps newer players, if they're still active? Quite a few vet players have been helping out lately too, hopefully they chime in on this thread with advice.

Min Assault is probably the most balanced assault right now, the slot layout allows for plenty of fitting options, the bonus applies to arguably the best weapons in the game. They're fast, versatile and fun to play. It is public opinion they are one of if not the strongest suit in the game right now. And they look like Isaac from Dead space lol.
In my opinion, finding your playstyle and going from there is better than just picking the peoples champ fitting, as things change regularly in this game. Best of luck!
