Can HAV fitting prices cost slightly more than a proto Dropsuit? I should be able to lose one proto tank per battle and still break even. I am pissed at throwing 700k per tank per battle.
Tanking is not a viable role currently. Either buff them so I lose one every three battles or cut their cost down to 200k per proto fitting.

That's because I'm using the advanced hull. But fit with all complex main tank modules and advanced utility. It'd be a wallet suicide to use the proto hull.

its not that bad using the proto hull. the abillty to fit the higher grade mod's drastically increase survivability.

Doesn't matter how much survivability you have, if you use a proto tank, I guarantee you there will be at least 3 or 4 guys on the enemy team using proto AV.

You can aswell use STD and ADV tanks cause they are actually viable. Using complex hardeners is in my opinion wasted fitting cause at enhanced and max skills you can cycle between 2 hardeners pretty easyily. a STD tank with decent fitting costs somewhere around 200~280k ISK which is a acceptable pricetag.

Not really considering that either will pop easily seeing as you're cycling the hardeners, especially if another HAV shows up, and that is the price of a full proto infantry fit.

Actually there is a bit of a problem with Standard and Advanced modules for vehicles. The difference in HP between a Standard and Prototype HP module on a vehicle, is significantly larger than the DPS difference between a Standard and Prototype AV weapon. This means that lower tiered AV is actually better than lower tiered vehicles, and the difference in power between a proto AV and a standard vehicle is actually much larger than it should be.

You can see that the percent difference is very different between the tiers. Here is a proposal to normalize the progression to a uniform percent difference (Different tabs show the differences at different percentages) and then 'Work in Progress' tab settles in around what I think is the most comfortable percent difference.
Overall its a new buff for Standard and Advanced Modules (Prototype was intentionally left the same), with a larger buff for Light Modules since their progression is even more messed up.

Yea, i know (and why I like hardeners more, seeing as they are more consistent). My point was that it's easier to pop, and then it still costs a **** ton, and it's not like you get paid more.
