Thousands want to play one game mode and hundreds play the other.
Really weird choice to fix PC first. |

PC includes small percent of the community which has a barrier to entry, huge costs, epic trolls, and only a couple of battles a day tops. Chasing the idea of making PC awesome has been bad for the game and will continue to be bad for the game because of one simple fact. PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO SCHEDULE THEIR GAMING TIME AROUND A BATTLE. That is the one thing that no matter what else is done will always be a broken mechanic. What other game is built around forcing you to be online at certain times. It is a real shame that so much energy is being put into something that no matter what few people will care about. You do realize one of the major goals is to remove the entry barrier; make it a social corp activity and pugging to be a more usual thing until you get your own land. Inversely nobody likes all their work getting destroyed while they're at work or asleep which is why PS2 has been rather struggling quite a bit lately.
I don't think you have a firm grasp on just how wide the gap is between the pub player and the PC player. Even if there are some pub players that can compete 1 v 1 with the best PC players out there. The coordination and execution of tactics in a skirmish gamemode for PC corps with nearly two years of experience will quickly stomp the eagerness out of new to PC corps.
I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see how a bunch of players that whine about proto gear are going to stomach the investment of time and ISK necessary to swim in those waters very long. |

The difference is that in ps2 if it's all 'gone, there's no barrier to take it back, there's more fights and it never meant anything anyway. So it's a non issue. The game would be pretty crap if one faction took everything and it was stuck like that. The mechanics in the game make that pretty much impossible anyway. You can rreflect on what i've put there and see that most of that goodness is the opposite in dust. It never delivered on anything connected to Eve so nothing mattered anyway beyond bragging right hence the complete lack of interest. Any news on dust coming to the ps4 or pc?
PS2 is more popular than Dust because of CCP. Perhaps a little bit because people in general are stupid, but Dust is 10x the game PS2 is. |

Just use a channel and pull in people to fill the match, it's really the only way to do it. If the changes are good and you win some matches you can build your numbers. |

No choice at this point. I'd agree if we also got raiding with the PC fix.
Fixing PC first would be comparable to GM deciding to completely revamp the Corvette as a strategy to dig themselves out of their problems. It makes no sense pandering to the smallest portion of your customer base when you are having difficulties. That said, I think the PC community in general spend more on this game than the average pub player. |

Remember back when the apex suits came out everyone went nuts trying to earn them, well perhaps there could be somewhat of a better reward system for FW. Something that will keep everyone's interest over a longer period of time. Personally I didn't really give a hoot about the suits but hey it was nice being able to q a Factional without waiting a century and a half.
I've seen a lot of great ideas tossed around in the forums about factionals and how to improve them. Maybe you guys at CCP should consider taking a second look.
Even with all the new maps, rewards, & buffs the game still feels stale. We still do the same things over and over.
