So sick of seeing a mass migration of Japs on US servers due to the Asian server's disappearance. Why is it there sometimes but not there most of the time?! I saw it twice last week, but other times it's nowhere to be seen.
Can we get some recognition or what? And an explanation? |

The same thing happened towards the end of mag's lifecycle. The asain and euro servers probably aren't coming back. It's the beginning of the end. Sony is trying to save money.

You'd think that with the DEV team being in Asia they'd keep the Asian server.

Guys, you probably know this but its not because Asians are superior, its the way the game handles latency.
Have you ever noticed how sometimes when playing far away people that you seem to have some sort of 'edge' in terms of reaction times? Other times its as if the enemy knows you are there before you are even aware yourself?
It seems unless everyone is in the same region on the server (This is when those really great games happen) then somehow one of the regions gets priority and the others in battle have latency based off of their location.
This can really make for terrible games if it is your region that has the latency. Its so much better when everyone is on a level playing field in terms of latency.
Use the PLC or the massdriver or Forge gun and you will easily and soon notice the differences between battle ping.

Sony doesn't run the DUST514 battle servers, CCP does.

It's the best server to play on if the American servers are misbehaving..
As players there just aren't as experienced there it seems. The slight lag delay practice is awesome for PC practice aswell ;) |

Only when they fix the EU server to stop kicking players from deployment.
