They have never NEVER stated that legion would not be on PS4, they just said they are focusing on the PC alpha for the moment. as I've already stated previously the PS4 architecture is designed so similar to PC that a port from one to the other wouldn't be that difficult.
I won't play the game on PC or PS4 either. Because again CCP Z. He wants to turn the game into a low budget destiny clone because he is one of those devs that loves to do trend chasing without actually understanding anything. And then there's hackers, for PC.
And for anything competitive I am not having hackers as a part of my game. Especially a F2P game where banning them is pointless as they could kill everyone in their vicinity with a standard AR on a new character (and they will, if it ever gets made). CCP also has what I would consider a hardly efficient force of in-game GM's that go after botters right now for EVE. You think they would keep up with the much easier to hack genre that is FPS? No. Not a snowballs chance in hell.
Legion was a flawed idea from the start and it needs to die.

Other PC shooters get along fine without problems for hackers, but I'm not sure how CCP deal with that issue and haven't considered it myself TBH. But why would you not want dust on PS4?
No, other PC shooters do not get along fine with hackers. It is a regular sight in PS2, BF and CS:GO. Even at a professional level people are banned from competition regularly for it.
It is tolerated because PC gamers have no choice. We, however, do have a choice. To NOT put it on PC in the first place.
As I said, I do want Dust on PS4. I don't want Legion on PS4.
Dust is not Legion. They are different visions by different teams. Legions vision is a half-baked idea by some marketing guy who is clueless about gaming.
