Since it seems pretty clear the models for the drones are already there, and an AI aiming mechanism is already there from the turrets, I'd be fine with simply deploying to random map with my 6 person max squad to shoot at stationary drones that respawn in the same places every so often. No time limit on this mode, no ISK gain, no skill point gain.And again, not even being able to choose your map or deploy with anything more than your squad because I'm trying to think of the simplest thing possible.

This mode would be good for exploring the maps looking for good vantage points and routes, working on some game tactics, and getting a sense for just how much more DPS one fit does opposed to another or how much more tank one fit has opposed to another (from a hands on sense opposed to numerical sense). Turn FF on for hilarity. When you're done leave the "match" and try again and hope you get the map you want.

There was a discussion of EVE DUST connection/lore and no one thought to talk about sansha incursions, let alone anything having to do with any of the new Content coming out in eve with all the new stations, hubs, and POSes. Rattati is really pushing for the Raid system, this could really work in eve as a preliminary strike for a major offensive in null sov space, exactly the same as how he wants it for PC.
