This news is defo the biggest LOL of the week.
So instead of those chaps finding a way to get rid of lag in our game, and improving the NPE and introducing new game modes, they build a turret shooting mobile game?
Just because you put elements of your competition (Star Citizen) in 4 different games, doesn't mean that you make money...
This seems so utter desperate, it's sad... |

I have pledged for SC over a year ago, but I have never really followed the development closely, since I don't have a rig to play it properly anyway.
What they have done so far, is though a completely different approach than EVE, an absolutley stunning project.
And so far they have delivered more than enough to keep their followers happy.
CCP on the other side, has a sad history of big promises and only mediocre delivery...
Soon tm doesn't cut it for me anymore. |

What got me hooked to SC was the immersion they are aiming for, and after I saw this:
300 Series Commercial
I pretty much was hooked.
It just took another vid:
325a interdictor commercial
to learn that this thing even has a Mass Driver Cannon, that I pulled the trigger on the corresponding pledge package.
I'm really looking forward to explore the world of SC, it might not be as big as eve initially, but wow, has it detail to it. This is what I had hoped for when joining the ranks of Dust.
BTW, if you havn't decided on a ship yet, there are more ship commercials on RSIs you tube page:

There is still a super long way to go for sure but I actually see the progress, actually see the massive player support and actually see regular communication from the developers.
CCP - Why on earth can you not take a page out of their book? Instead we get shady secret projects left and right and it seems no one in CCP even has the courage to tell us the straight hard truth.
I think it's deperate trys to find the straw to pull themselves out of the vortex... |
