Closed beta? Or open? Seven million, eh? Left shortly after Fanfest last year then.
Not too much to look at between then and now. A few things have been introduced, but in terms of SP investment, the only "new" things are tanks, which got advanced and prototype variants. Armor tanks are currently top dog, with repper tanks returning thanks to the use of hardeners. Current top weapons seem to still be rail rifles, specifically the assault variant, along with scrambler rifles (both variants) Favored dropsuits include the Minmatar and Amarr assaults.
Myofibrils are the new hot stuff though, as they've recently been given the added benefit of increasing jump height. Stacking four to five will allow you to leap atop many buildings previous accessible only by dropship.
Oh, and Plasma Cannons have gotten a few buffs too~<3

You will indeed. It's amazing~! If you can stop yourself from giggling like a schoolgirl for five minutes, you might even be able to do something useful for your team. 
And cloaks... Cloaks have seen better days. They now give massive reductions to scanning precision (? Might be range, can't remember) and thus you can no longer see a thing with them active... and I think since... seven months ago... they've also lost quite a bit of time available for activation. Proto is now only forty seconds, and only gives a ten percent buff to scanning profile. In short... they're kinda crap at this point.
