people are leaving because the game is old dude. console games have a smaller life cycle then PC games and as the system itself is at the end of its life cycle this is not surprising
the only thing surprising is so many players finding this fact suprising.

For the people claiming it's old , then why do people still play Metroid .?. Mario Bro's .?. Mortal Kombat .?. Pac Man and such and those game are older then a lot of people .
It's performance issues that keep people from this game because no matter what else was happening , if this game was running smooth , you didn't get caught running on the terrain , glitches didn't happen where RE's teleported and such , no train map 50 times a day and they would make up their minds on what direction that this game is going ... then I believe that the base would be bigger of course , PS home closed , people are looking for something to do and this game is how many years old .?. it's not the system it's the performance .
Anyone who knows about gaming and consoles ... much less HPGC's would talk about the Sega Dreamcast and the N64 and how ahead of the times that those games where and the fact that they weren't used to their full potential .
Most of the times people overlook performance and you have such a broad audience that's untapped .
It's been time to address that .
Doubts are like flies and should be treated as such and crushed .

How old is this compared to the new line from the fish mongers at Treyarch/Activision??
while Dust, a much newer game barely scrapes the 3000 mark 
CCP need to sort better NPE, add more content (its going well but bells and whistles won't save Dust)
If Planetary Conquest became an open option for the community, along with PvE...
add in some new modes, maps, maybe a dedicated battle server for vehicle combat..
^ Those changes, along with some cuddling up to Sony to re-market Dust on PSN..
make a new trailer (OF WHAT WE ACTUALLY HAVE) then there could be a severe increase in players
CCP need to offer more reasons for gamers to join, if they upgrade quality, the numbers will stay |
