Its gonna get nefed like the cloak when it first came out. So many ppl abused and over used it til ccp came with the nerf bat. I say with the next hotfix, myofibril stimulants will get nerfed HARD. Maybe not the melee increase but certainly the jumping height increase. |

Well, it can hardly be called a nerf if it is an unintended behavior being fixed.
So far it seems that devs didn't expect the moonjumping to happen, and why it's happening (see Aeon Amadi's analysis thread)
Looking at both sides of the coin.
Even Aurum one.

Eh...
Fixing unintended behavior is not really a nerf, and even then, I only see a handful of people even using, let alone abusing, jumping.
I'd rather CCP refine jumping to be a tactical decision that is less effective in combat (stamina use, variable jumping with time- based button presses, whatever).
Anyway, my 3x complex myos feels perfect as far as jump height alone. Jumping one single story is hardly OP, and even then, jumping mid combat is a poor decision when playing with competent people: hardly OP.

The mechanic is sound and offers a huge amount of potential / fun / exploration of levels, its just too spam-able. I suggest leaving melee damage as is, possibly reduce melee stamina cost slightly. The main point being to increase stamina cost for jumping somewhat when a myo is fitted.
I feel that they would be some good first changes personally. Nerfing them to a max of 3 fitted will probably kill off the very modest amount of people that are actually using them right now.

I think 3 should be the maximum amount of myo that one could fit, no more. With how things work right now, 3 myos are really useful to increase mobility without actually break all immersion. It still looks odd, but not that much. Over 3 there goes the real problem IMO.
Fix the game before trying to add anything else.
(Hint: hit detection, lags, glitches,.. you've got some work :) )

You can fit as many as you wish that will fit of course. Just the 4th and 5 aren't suppose to be really doing anything. It has already been said.
ps this is no where near the cloak mess.

As far as I am concerned, I use it only to keep the element of surprise on my ck.0, not in combat. There is so little tank with them that I am rather unfortunate if I am seen first!

aweful idea, just set them back to the way they were and put a jetpack module into the game.
its easier to balance, it would have its own cooldown so it cant be spammed. it fits with the lore of the universe better.
