I party like a monk.
I spent highschool among drug addicts, drug dealers, alcoholics, STD ridden "rabbits" and soon to be felons. Now, I spend time with people that think getting blackout drunk is "fun"and celebrate certain days just so they have a "legitimate" reason to drink unhealthy amounts of alcohol.
Enjoy your alcoholic beverages. Hopefully, in responsible amounts.

St. Patty's day is a sacred bogan holiday. Unfortunately I do see where you are coming from. I have lost a few mates to drink driving. However please don't drag down everyone's buzz.
Not everyone drinks and drives. Hell here in NZ the drink driving law is zero tolerance for under 21 (drinking age is 18) and close to only one beverage for everyone else. Its too the point where only the idiots get behind the wheel now.

If someone wants a circle jerk, I recommend an orgy(probably easier to find one, these days!).
If somebody wants to be surrounded by 'yes men,' they'll probably find them out at whatever St. Patrick's day party or at the local pub.
Even then, if somebody is taking St. Patrick's day to heart, they probably won't remember me, being a worse buzzkill than that stupid Family Guy joke. They'll either have no memory at all, or remember the good times with family/friends.
