I had read about Dust about a year before closed beta released. I think through both Game Informer and IGN. I didn't buy in to play the closed beta, but hopped on day one of open beta. I ended up buying a Merc Pack anyways, so I probably should have just payed to get into closed beta, but I didn't know anyone else that was interested in Dust at the time.

A friend had a friend that had played in the beta and told him that it would be coming out for everyone in a few days so when uprising came around we both downloaded it. |

Got invited during closed beta from PS+, hated it, didnt play for a bit. Came back to delete the game but gave it one shot, liked the changes in chromosome, met a guy who showed me a bit...here I be.

While I was playing Eve Online and read the forums that was talking about it. Managed to get into closed beta via an invite sent to all Eve players.

I guess like a lot of others, I used to play EVE Online and I was watching one of the fanfest segments where they revealed it and was hooked on the idea of the game instantly.

hm. I honestly don't remember how I found out about DUST. Just looked through my email to see if I had saved anything, thinking maybe I had gotten an EvE email advert or something. Maybe i stumbled on it from the EvE site and got curious? Dunno. Whatever prompted me, I registered but didn't get access for 2 months =\ I had given up really... then out of nowhere. I still made it in CB though 
shame I haven't learned a thing in all this time lol.

I bought a PS3 to play "The Last of Us" in June 2013. It came with Uncharted 3, MGS4 and a code for some freebies for a game called Dust. There's Dust artwork on the box, which I still have. Got around to downloading the game on August 9th, 2013. |

My father got a beta invite from eve online. He seemed really excited about it and invited me over to play a few weekends. I thought the idea was pretty good, so when I could finally buy into beta, I got my own account.

My neighbour was an EVE pilot and heard I had a PS3 and told me about Dust 514. That was December 2012. When it was released for open beta I downloaded it.
I find your lack of heaviness... disturbing...

Got the ps3 and thought it was crap.
Was mucking around on psn and randomly came across it.
Couldn't believe something so good could be on the scrubsole.
Got into closed beta and my key didn't work.
Got in day one of open beta.
Now whining any which way I can for a ps4 port.
That's my life story and soon I'll be writing a memoir and directing a film about it.
Matchmaking will boost the ps3 capability by 1000% and we can enjoy Dust for years to come......

I've been following news on DUST for almost as long as I've been playing EVE online. (Even though I didn't have a PS3 at the time)
Around June after it got it's 'official' 5/14 'release' I managed to buy a PS3 on the cheap. Still love the game as much as I did when I first heard about it when it was just an idea of what could be.
I hope to be around with it to see what is yet to come of this game. |

My hubby is an old school eve player.....anyway he started when it first came out, since we had a second ps3 sitting around he created an accout and started getting me interested in dust.
Something like " Oh yea be this medic chick and follow my fatty around mwoh ow ow"
and here I am still playing this game oi.
