ridiculous. I actually have gun game and get a couple shots off in a scout duel, but because he has a bolt pistol and i have a scrambler pistol, he wins. it literally feels like even though the ScP is a shield weapon, it does **** all to shields
for months now my logi has been getting one-shotted. how is that fair? Logi is defenseless, not his fault the team can't kill some idiot running around with a bolt pistol

I've been noticing the Scramblers have been doing 10-20 damage as of late.... but randomly it seems.

It's because there's no other useful Caldari Sidearm that can be used effectively by Caldari Assault's and Sentinels.
Also the RR fail-to-fire glitch makes the gun extremely unreliable in CQC.

becase its made for vs armor which should have decent health. are you not running enough health mabey try adding some so you can kill them while they reload

Hey!!! I'm that idiot with a bolt pistol .. it's not my fault your logi never heard of hitpoints or cover !! 
jokes aside, the Bolt was in a better place before the 'changes' given the high chance of missing, i'd rather
that it had 5/6 in a clip with a drop in damage per shot, as right now there are a lot of insta-kill bolt pistol hits
I got bored with it, went back to flaylocks and ion pistols.. both of which are awesome
BrScP is scary as hell, Ion Pistol charge shot is good in cqc, all pistols can one shot you  |

i think the main thing is is if you have no points in a sidearm, the mlt BP is the best one to run. Hell, even is you have some sp is sidearms, the mlt bp is still better to run. but if you got proto flay lock, smg, at least in my experience, nah... |

I think it will appear in the stats eventually... now that heavies got the nerf stick... the min CR combo is next on the chopping block... after that, who knows... I think the bolt pistol is a definite candidate though... |

It's the alpha strike. Over a short span of time the DPS is decently high. Add in +4% damage from the Krins damage mod, and another 4% from the Warbarge, and a headshot or 2....and BAM!

Exactly. Unfortunately this was the reason given for a lot of unnecessary 'balancing' done to weapons. The bolt pistol was a really great sidearm in its original form when it had lower damage and a slightly bigger clip. Lower charge time too I think.
Just because it wasn't being used a lot doesn't mean there was something wrong with it.
The slow blade penetrates the shield.

Old BP is the best BP. Felt fair because people had time to react from the first round.
But now? It simply hits too hard :/ the "first shooter" advantage is more noticeable.
Still, i prefer the magsec :3 when prof'd that is.

Bolt pistol has low clip and reserve but high damage scp has high clip low damage it needs tweaking n slight buff but bolt pistol is good where its at considering most rail weaponry has been messed with thanks to all the nerf posts this is one that definitly shouldnt |

Cuz BP has the highest dmg output.
It has around 800 dps vs armor and around 550+ vs shields. One shot - 333 armour down. One HS and you're down. Has range of 60m.
It's just good cuz it's made by Caldari.
You can play with your flare gun aka flaylock.

As a Caldari Scout wielding a bolt pistol, I wouldn't mind seeing a slight nerf, as long as it still remains usable.
I would say probably a fifth of my deaths occur due to the charge up time of my own bolt pistol.
Also, I can't win against a Breach Scramble Pistol. If someone has that thing, I die. No questions asked.

I've been dying a lot to it recently as well. From commando to scout it seems to insta kill me no matter what I run.
Edit: I don't play PC so my deaths wont matter in determining whether or not it's OP so just ignore my post.

all my non amarr assault suits sit around 700-800 Hp, their bolt pistol a sidearm can usually out range and out damage whatever main weapon im using, constantly getting 1 hit for 750dmg and thats why i run mostly BPO |
