How has no-one mentioned that the ScR (and now the god-damn AScR) are performing way better against Armor than they should?
How has no-one mentioned that it's the ONLY Light Weapon with a ridiculously calculated Charge-Shot?
This weapon needs serious nerfing, or its charge shot removed entirely from the game. When a weapon does as well against armor as the CR, despite a 20% reduction, you know it's broken, and now Rattati made the god awful decision to make the AScR OP as well.
Inb4 "Minmatar Scum", I play Gallente and have beefs with the CR as well, but that's another thread for another time.

Well it's not blapping a 1200 armor tanked sent or commando in 3-5 shots. And if you're talking about charged shots, then this commando/sent really need a better gungame because it takes a lot of time to charge shots, and then wait for the cooldown.
About charged shots: they are not OP at all. They take half of your max heat cap with AmAss lvl5, they have a low DPS considering the time they take to charge, and compare to how much damages you can deal with that heat cost by spamming the trigger, they are ridiculous (in a bad way).
It's a great weapon for those who know when to fight and when to run. And trust me, if you miss your charged shots, you'll regret it immediately.
Fix the game before trying to add anything else.
(Hint: hit detection, lags, glitches,.. you've got some work :) )

how to master the weapon: -get a cheap turbo controller for 10 bucks -press fire button and enjoy higher DPS to armor than all anti armor light weapons with good range and great CQC capability. shields have no business here anyway -stop pressing button shortly before overheat and switch to sidearm for 2 seconds
for best results, use amarr assault

PS: before anyone claims CR does more DPS to armor... I will spare you from making yourself look stupid and tell your right away, the CR has a built in delay between bursts bringing it down to 857 RPM. |

Yeah, say that to my Amarr Assault that can mass murder herds of enemies in seconds. P.S., no weapon is good at taking on multiple targets except MD. well, you are wrong any weapon with very little/no overheat mechanism and a high clip size assault rifle rail rifle assault scrambler rifle sub-machine gun (not assault) knives shotgun
Kind of like my ScR. Very Little overheat and enough ammo to drop 2-4 guys in proto.
